We stayed at Compass Point for the month of December. The diving was excellent and the accommodations are top shelf. The staff is also excellent!

If your are a diver, you can not miss a trip to Compass Point. This is the greatest place to stay if you want a lay-back dive trip. To say this is a World Class resort would be an under statement. As for the dive operation - Ocean Frontiers, this has to be one of the best in the world. Set up your equipment once at the start of the week and you are done, the staff takes care of all the washing for you. The East end of the island has to have the best diving found on Grand Cayman. Would I go back, you can put that down as a for sure.

The photos tell most of the story. The rest:

The best dive operator i've been with.
Pristine sites
Good divers - Even the novices are serious about their skills
Quiet and restful (no nightlife here). Again, for serious divers (or kiteboarders)

The staff and facilities at Compass Point and Ocean Frontiers was second to none. Very knowledgeable, great diving, and some very unique dives as well. You can't go wrong with this operation.

I stayed at Compass Point for the first time. The condo was great for 2 people, good lighting, lots of storeage in bedroom. The kitchen compact & there's a small washer & dryer. They supply you with small bottle of dish soap, laundry soap, salt, pepper, & roll of paper towels. Housekeeping is extra except for daily trash take out (condo has a broom & mop). I would recommend the one bedroom for a couple, friends (murphy beds in living room), or family with 1 or 2 children. If I had one complaint it would be only mirror is in the bathroom otherwise, inside was roamy & lay out good & outside patio large & private. The complex is not big, but close to water & dive boats. The swimming pool was a little warm but there's another across the street. The bikes, free rental, were good. The condo staff friendly & helpful. Definitely need a rental car. The grocery store/liquor store near by.

Room Tip: ocean front

Thank you for the tip. We'll be adding an extra full length mirror on the back of the bedroom doors. Glad you enjoyed your vacation and the scuba diving with us in the Cayman Islands.

Compass Point and Ocean Frontiers together make an excellent combination. We stayed in anime bedroom condo on the ocean front side, no extra cost for a room with a view, with a pig including 2-tank dives each day, option to add more dives. Included was a rental car from Avis. Upon check in, 2 crates were delivered to our room to put our dive gear in, with our names. They picked them up and all week they hauled our gear to the boat, rinsed it, dried our wetsuits, everything. Even when we had to dive one time with another operation because of scheduling, they loaded our car for us. The condo was charming, clean, full kitchen, balcony to dry bathing suits, 2 pools, BBQs to use. If you want to stay at East End in GC, stay with these folks...they ROCK! Only thing missing is a restaurant.

Room Tip: Just ask for an ocean view on the 1st flr

There's a reason this place has a lot of 5 star reviews through trip advisor. BECAUSE IT IS AN AWESOME OPERATION. Everything from the condos to the dive operators through Ocean Frontiers. Great vacation. Quiet East End was fantastic for a relaxing vacation with fabulous scuba diving. We also went shore diving at Sunset House, Cracked Conch and Lighthouse just to mix it up a little from the boat diving. You will not be disappointed with Compass Point and Ocean Frontiers.
