Description: The Dinghy Dock Bar is a true Caribbean dive bar. Situated on a historic marina in Oyster Pond, the bar straddles the Dutch and French line sitting over the water. It's a place where high and low, locals and tourists, rub elbows and party the night away. It was originally a place to get the rowdy drunken sailor's out of the finer establishments in the area. Sit at the bar and to hear stories told, some true and many not, from around the island and around the world. The "mix your own" happy hour is the best around. That's right, you get the bottle, glass, mixer, and make you own drink. This is also one of the best-stocked bars on the island, with the usual suspects, as well some unusual ones - even a selection of craft beers from the US for those missing a taste of home. The kitchen makes some of the best casual bar food around, lunch and dinner. You won't find better fish and chips, ribs, burgers, wings, or anything else on the menu. Daily specials vary from goat stew to jerk pork chops to blackened grouper. We open at 8am for coffee and fresh baked croissants. The kitchen opens around 11am and runs until you're stuffed. All are welcome - kids, dogs, iguanas, random dock critters, old and young people - provided, of course, they're up for a good time. Family friendly most of the day and night, late night is definitely more suited for the "big kids". You never know what will happen at this place. There is also live music every Sunday night and usually 2-3 other nights of the week. Sports fan? The game is always on at the Dinghy Dock. Whether it's NFL, NHL, NBA, Soccer, College, Pro, Olympics, you name it and we will like be watching. Stop by and yell at the tvs(that's right, more than one) with us. You are guaranteed to have a good time no matter what night you go, and once you've been there, you will be back. Maybe because you got so drunk you forgot your shoes, or maybe to do it all over again. Dinghy Dock Bar "The Peril of Oyster Pond"

We saw this place from across the marina and thought it looked like a great place to hang out. We came here after a long day at the beach. The bar tenders were very friendly and I had the best fish tacos EVER!! And the drinks were very good too! Overall great place to chat with local people and have some good food.

Managed to make it here 4 out of our 7night stay!!Set looking out over a quiet marina don't be fooled that this place is gonna be quiet…This is the place everybody comes, right from local ex pats, to the american tourist who's on a mission to get his moneys worth at the famous and 'ORIGINAL' pour your own drink at happy hour. You'll never have a dull moment in here, the american styled bar is where you know the parties gonna go down at some point in the evening. When it comes to the food,we came for breakfast one morning which was a plateful, for 7$ you get eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon or sausage that cannot be beaten especially in this area!!On to my dinner selections, you can't go wrong with the fish and chips or the nachos which we shared one night, also recommend the burger. The staff are great and will always make sure you never have an empty drink. Seths(boss man) Alain and kendall will keep you entertained. Just got in a batch of American craft beers, a great selection, but if that doesn't tilt your head maybe trying the 2Litre Boot full of beer..Theres something for everyone here and you won't be disappointed Mark sure you do your best to bump into the local celebrity "mark" , he drops in quite often and is always the life of the party at the ripe old age of 58 nothings holding him back. The bar also prides itself on the witty banter they put up on their advertising boards and always make you smile..This is a true 'one off' quirky bar you have to visit..

The staff is very nice and make you feel like part of the family. Try the "worst" fish and chips ever. They're really good. Just take it easy during the "mix your own drink" happy hour. ;)
