There is a reason when people come, they say they're "home". The staff remembers each person and you get a hello from the man watering the plants to the lady at one of the desks in the lobby. I can't wait to return next year!

Room Tip: We have never had a bad room. The view of the ocean would be our first choice, but the bay is also...

We have been coming here for four (4) years and by far this year was exceptional!!!
All of the staff are extremely attentive, helpful and most of all friendly. They all go out of their way to remember who you are and to make you stay the best that it can be. We stayed in the Mainsail bldg., first floor with the balcony facing the ocean. It was such a delight to get up and see the sunrise, so beautiful. The studio room was more than big enough with a full kitchen if you felt the need to cook during vacation, I did not. We mostly stayed on the resort. The restaurants and lounges were wonderful on the resort. The beach and pool area were always clean, the staff would get their early every morning to keep the areas looking wonderful. There is so much to say about this place, it is like being on a cruise, you can either participate with the different events that they have going on or just relax and enjoy the resort. Either way this resort will not disappoint you.

Awesome pool! Comfortable and clean rooms. Staff was overall helpful and friendly. Problems with ants in the kitchen, which resort promised to address, but did not. Lots of stairs to climb to get to room. No elevators.

Oyster Bay Beach Resort was beyond our imagination. The first day we arrived we were reserved about the island and the resort. It took one day to completely change what opinions we had. We had the time of our life!! The resort is top notch, the staff is top notch, the Infinity restaurant was supreme, and the infinity pool was paradise! Tom and I bought a time share on the second day and will be returning next September. The people we met were very social and fun. We also have a new couple that we made a friendship with. They will also be returning the same week next year!! I would recommend this resort to everyone.

Nice resort located a bit far from the action on St Maarten.
Mostly couples
Front desk staff a little rude at times
Concierge was very helpful\
Lots of activities on property
Limited workout facilities
Food pretty food at Beau Beaus and the resort restaurant
Lively bar and pool area with beautiful ocean views
Had marina view which was nice
Clean small units....NO WATER PRESSURE! Many people complaining about it...I was on the third floor and had barely a trickle at times....NEEDS to be addressed
Overall good time

Room Tip: Ask for ocean or marina view

In all fairness the resort could get a better rating because most of the staff were very helpful. However like with all resort there are a few that aren't very good at customer service and not helpful and only offer information when asked specifically. We traveled with our 15 mo old daughter and when we arrived they checked us in right away. The crib and high chair I requested was already there which was kudos for their coordination as when I called ahead they even took down my flight information. There were daily cleaning service and the resort doesn't nickel and dime you by providing free wi-if in common area, providing paper towels, dishing washing liquid in the room and providing beach chair and umbrella at the beach. The cons were that there is smoking allowed at the property so there are cigarettes butts everywhere and people constantly smoking around you. Which as a non-smoker and with a young toddler it's very unpleasant. The sand at the beach is the finest we have seen of the many beaches we have been to around the world but is littered with cigarette butts makes it unsightly. Many resorts we stay at have designated smoking areas. The rooms were a bit dated but sufficient with all condo amenities. The information packet provided in the rooms weren't really detailed/helpful. There is no in-room dining available so you have to pick up. The restaurant food was average. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor coming home each night or when they are watching a tv show. We stayed on the first floor and faced the marina and right below us is the parking lot so you hear a lot of car noises too.

Overall, this resort is not catered to families with young children. The shallow end of the pool is the only kid friendly thing it has going for it. The grocery store sells basic things which is nice but there is no fresh milk except for Lactaid, no Cheerios, don't think there's baby food but I didn't look. It has some diapers and wipes. So families should def rent a car bc the taxi ride to the large supermarket is 20 each way. Nevertheless the grocery store sold delicious baguettes, pastries and the staff is super nice. You can reserve your pastries in advance.

In short I think the resort has potential but def needs improvement.

We stayed in a beautiful beachy(newly updated)2 bedroom,2 bath, complete kitchen over looking the ocean & St Barths. We could also see the ferry coming & going from the beautiful small Harbor Oyster pond behind us. The hotel lobby area is great & they have fabulous staff at the actvity desk. Happy hour(BOGO) is everyday 4-6. The infinity pool & jacuzzi look to flow into the ocean. There are fantastic restaurants-the infinity restaraunt right there had a delicious all you could eat brunch on Sat complete with"what do you want on your omelette? Within a 3 min walk you had fabulous other places to eat right on the ocean or by the Harbor. Also a little grocery store & pizza place & gift shop. Our favorite was Beau Beau's overlooking turquoise water Dawn Beach. Oyster Bay has their own area of chaise lounges with umbrellas & outdoor showers. This beach is GORGEOUS! Oyster Bay had ALOT of entertainment going on & we met & had fun with people all over the world! I have never seen a place where also the guests know each other because they come every year & I see why! I can't say enough about this place! Also, If you go... Must do their "Beach Party"!!! & do the Farewell catamaran all day trip thru Eagle co. It was recommended & if I were to go every yr I would do this each time!!! So much I haven't shared. It was the Best vacation ever!

Room Tip: We were in between the Lobby area & Dawn Beach overlooking the ocean (from living & both bed...
