Had an AMAZING family vacation!!!! Stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean, and had food waiting for us upon our arrival - as part of the grocery plan! Sharon at reservations was the most helpful and went out of her way to make our stay magical!!!! Everyone at the resort is helpful friendly and available!! The other guests were really friendly as well - down to earth and really nice. The Best resort!!!!

Room Tip: Room 1224 was AMAZING- looked over the Ocean!!!!

This resort has been my home timeshare for 13 years and I will not trade my unit for anywhere else. My daughter and I (and my parents also) have loved coming here and being in that Infinity Pool. Beau Beau's is fun and the food is great.

We stayed at Oyster Bay last week and really enjoyed our time. We had a studio timeshare but chose to upgrade to the penthouse 2BR to visit with another couple. Check-in was a bit long in that we had to check in at the front desk and then were sent over to a second desk for a check-in packet and activity information. But, the suite was wonderful. Very clean, good AC, cable tv from NY stations, fully stocked kitchen and an amazing private pool/whirlpool and grill area upstairs. The front desk was quick to replace the missing umbrella on our deck when we reported it.

The staff was a little pushy on the time-share aspect of the property and were on top of us the first day or so to schedule a tour but were very polite and much less aggressive than other properties that we have visited. Robert and Jill were so nice - if you do tour the property, please request them.

We will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Upgrade to a penthouse if you have the money available - it is worth it.

We arrived two nights ago and are here for a week. The front desk manager could not be worse. She was so rude to all of us. We requested an ocean front room and paid cash for it (although two of us are platinum members!) but were told that none are available even though it's clearly low season.

We were appalled that she actually laughed at us when we told her we booked these rooms six months ago. She said rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Other guests tell us this is not the truth.

Our rooms face the bay. The bathroom is tiny - we can't even bend over to shave our legs!

The air conditioner didn't work the first night - and maintenance didn't come to check it until the next morning.

The pool is tiny and the beach is dirty. Not exactly what we expected...

Very, very disappointing.

We traded to this resort thru I.I. It's location is great for relaxation. No crowds no commercialization. Excellant restaurants near and the BEST snorkeling trip ever with Captain Alan. Happy hour 4 to 6 2 for 1 drinks. 2 viewa, marina and ocean. We stayed in 2 bedroom #3022 ocean view, both had full bath ensuites. They do have a laudry coin op room. Pack light carry on. Weather was great cloudy rain 1 day only. Need car to tour island. Rental agency on site. 30 minutes to airport . Go to Philpsburg for jewlery Marigot and Gran Case for the best restaurants. Don't miss Orient Beach and Cher's in Maho Bay. Some say to touristy but must go 1st time on island. Internet is none existant. Walk down to CANOA restaurant get password great internet all day. To Alexandra and Nick and family it was great meeting you .If ever in our area of Canada gives us a call. ( wendyrocca@cogeco.ca )

Room Tip: @ choices marina or ocean we stayed in rm 3022 2nd floor 2 bedrm 2 bath ocean view

My husband and I went to OBBR on our honeymoon as a gift from our parents. The food at the resort was ok but very over priced for what you got. I did like that we could order lunch or drinks and have them delivered by the pool. The only way to get free wifi with out paying a semi-hefty fee is to sit in the lobby of the resort which was disappointing. There are two computers available for guests to use or print but one was broken and they management did nothing to fix it while we were there so there was often a line. We would likely go back it is in a very quiet part of the island and its nice to get away but to go do anything really around the island you would need to rent a car or get a taxi.

This was not my first stay in St Maarten/St. Martin. I knew you needed a car to properly explore the island. I didnt realize this resort was as far away as it was. After maneuvering through several roundqbouts/turns, we arrived. I had emailed my requests to the resort so we got a ground floor, renovated unit with an ocean view. The room was just beautiful granite counters , comfortable beds and staff that not only answered our calls but that checked and confirmed any issies. For example when we arrived one of tbe a/c's in one of the bedrooms was not cool enough. Upon calling the maintenance man who arrived almost immed after our call, he checked the unit out changed some settings and said he would return in an hour to see if the unit was working, well he returned In like 40 minutes and when the room still wasnt cool he installed a new unit..in minutes. Our housekeeper Marie was like an aunt to us. She took such good care of us and gave us hints on where to eat etc. We really needed more than a week at this resort . It is in a safe area and very calm. There is more nightlife in simpson bay but you would have a longer drive to go to grand case orient etc. This resort really suited our needs and everyone from bells staff Sunny, to the activities rep. Sulika who gave the best directions and suggestions , made our stay wonderful!

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are quiet except over beau beaus, we didnt mind it and used the music from restaur...
