We stayed here twice last summer when my daughter was planning and doing a sponsored ride. The great set-up of the rooms (two bedrooms, bathroom and small sitting room) meant we had our own little space to relax in the evening to unwind. The rooms were beautifully decorated with wonderful, homemade quilts decorating the walls and beds. Breakfast was great there being a wide choice of fresh local produce and tasty vegetarian options for my daughter. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful having an excellent knowledge of the area.
We would certainly return and would hearlty recommend.

My husband, myself and our mothers had travelled from Australia for a 1 month tour of England and Wales and as none of us had ventured into Wales we virtually had no expectations and were taking each day as it came so to speak. We stayed at many B&B's around the country, and whilst most were comfortable and and the hosts lovely and welcoming, Morgan's, with Jeff and Kate at the helm, was the most unexpectedly perfect place to stay!
As per all the other reviews! - we were warmly welcomed by Kate and Jeff, assisted up to our suite of rooms, which really were beautifully presented, and then invited down to sit in the living room in front of the roaring fire to partake of tea, coffee and home made chocolate coated flapjacks.
Jeff and Kate were warm and friendly and we actually ended up talking for a good long while before Kate had to leave for a pre-arranged meeting. The house is surrounded by farm fields full of sheep and cows that come right up to fence - very curious! We love taking photos so were out and about taking a few that evening - very peaceful and beautiful. I cant believe now that we had only planned on staying one night! We know better now!
The rooms were indeed a treat. The suite was fantastic. The beds were quite comfortable, the private sitting room quaint and cosy, the bathroom wonderful and overall the styling was perfection. Luxury.
Breakfast was just one more reason to return to this place! The styling of the room so country chic, the food options were plentiful, the compote divine, the vegetarian sausage a winner and I could go on but I wont because I think you get the picture!
Everyone please consider staying here even if it is for one night as you travel through on on up to the Lake District as we did! Its worth it just to experience this lovely place with these lovely people as your hosts.
Thanks again Jeff and Kate and Lloyd and I hope to see you again one day on our return! xxx

Upon booking our horse riding holiday on Equestrian Escapes, I decided on going for the 'cheaper' of the options and opted in staying in the b and b as opposed the more expensive private cottage or 4 star hotel. And so naturally me and my fiance were not expecting much of the accomodation....How wrong we were!

Morgans B and B is truly one of the most beautiful places we have had the pleasure of staying in. We were immediately greeted by the owner Jeff and Kate who were both extremely friendly and very polite and welcoming. The drive up to the B and B is a site to behold aswell, the location is perfect. We were shown to our room, where I was again totally surprised, this was more on the lines of a luxory suite. Presentation throughout was stunning, and the attention to detail in the decorations was really lovely. We instantly warmed to the place. Not only did we have a large comfy double bed in a very large bedroom, we also had the luxory of having ANOTHER bedroom with 2 single beds in, a very modern fitted bathroom and a spacious living room area aswell. Again I will mention attention to detail... we were provided with fresh milk for our teas and coffees, we were given (what I assume were) home made brownies and flapjacks, aswell as an assortment of teas and freshly ground coffee with a coffee percolater! In the room we also had the pleasure of having a detailed guide detailing pubs and restaurants around the area, nice walks to take (with directions etc!), local attractions, I could go on.... it was very detailed. I HONESTLY have never received such a good service from even a hotel! The breakfast that was served each morning was, again, just perfect. We felt like we were in a luxory hotel. I had some melon followed by a full english, which was beautifully cooked, and even VERY well presented. Again, compared to other B and B breakfast, this was in a different class. Luckily for us, the weather was gorgeous, and so we enjoyed some brisk walks in the surrounding countryside, aswell as sitting in the well looked after garden to the rear. I could go on and on about this place, its not often you get such a good service, so when you do it takes you by surprise!

Throughout our stay, we really were amazed that a B and B could be so perfect. Both Jeff And Kate, really are both wonderful people and made our visit to North Wales extra special. Btw Jeff, I have now brought a coffee percolator after the lovely coffee you served me each morning!!! And Kate you have inspired nikki with your decorations which is not proving good for my bank balance! :).

Thank you both for a lovely break. We will most certainly recommend you to all our friends and family. And will most certainly visit again in the not so distant future. There was only one negative thing about our stay.... That we didnt stay longer!

I try to avoid getting involved with booking any sort of holiday accommodation on the grounds that if it doesn't live up to my wife's high standards I'll get the blame. I don't know how she found Morgan's B&B, she never reads reviews, but she certainly had no complaints, and neither did I.

We were there for 4 nights, tried both rooms and preferred the "purple" room to the 2 bedroomed suite. Fabulous large room, large bed with an amazing hand-made quilt by Kate, great views over the mountains and coast, immaculate bathroom with great shower, and it goes without saying that the breakfast was equally as wonderful.

Although we only used it once, the communal lounge with the wood-burning stove is a nice touch, great place to relax, if you have the time. Lots of books available to dip into.

I suppose I could moan that the weather wasn't quite clear enough to see Blackpool Tower 40 miles away - my grandfather helped build it - or that the pheasants didn't appear on time, one of the girls being fashionably late for breakfast, but that would just be TOO picky.

Even getting there down (or up) a mile of Welsh lanes that made our Irish ones look like 3 lane highways was all part of the fun.

Would DEFINITELY recommend. We will be back.

Jeff and Kate were excellent hosts, with a really warm welcome and a clean, comfortable room. All my needs and wants were attended to and I had an amazing stay. The breakfast was amazing, loads of choice and beautifully prepared. Could not pick a fault with the B&B and I didn't want to leave!!

What an amazing B&B! New, clean, comfey, amazing views. It really has everything you could ever wish for. Jeff and Kate are so welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was amazing with such a great choice and well cooked. The only bad thing was that we only stayed one night!
