Easy to find and arrive by Waterbus or Water taxi if your pocket allows it. lovely building inside and out with its serene garden facing the Grand Canal and Water Bus stop.If you want peace and quiet this is not the Hotel for you the convenience of having the Water Bus stop brings the noise of one of the Grand Canals busiest stops,But having said that it was not a problem for us.(Three Sixty year olds).
The rooms are as stated on the tin we were given 2 on the ground floor overlooking the garden and the Canal ,they did come with disabled Faciliites but they could not have known our age profile till we arrived they were absolutely fine.
The only small point I can raise is the bar which serves some of the best coffee we had in Venice closes at 9pm which as you will be aware there is no Tea and Coffee in Continental Hotel rooms made for a dry late evening, with a bit of organising surely the receptionist could have made drinks.

Room Tip: Canal side every time

Great location beside Grand Canal and next to Ca d'oro waterbus stop. Restaurants and cafes very close-by. Half way between railway station and Realto Bridge.
Good quality Hotel - clean, comfortable and welcoming.
The price we paid was excellent, €140 per night, for the room and breakfast.

Room Tip: Superior double, level 4, courtyard view.

This hotel is not where it's shown on all the maps- it's on the right hand side less than 20yards after leaving the Ca d'Oro vaporetto stop, before you even get to the intersection with the large Road with McDonald's on. The garden and jetty are beautiful, it's a lovely hotel, the reception is really nicely done with very friendly staff. The decor throughout is typically venetian and is really lovlely. I'd requested a bath and canal view with our superior room but unfortunately they'd only given us a 'partial canal view' (ie stick your head out of the window!) and no bath, the shower wasn't great and there was the odd splash stain on the fabric walls. Nothing that really took away from the experience overall though- not perfect but a lovely place to stay in beautiful Venice. The breakfast is quite good but relatively slow on hot drinks. The cakes are a must try and the fried pancetta and eggs are good. Recommend this hotel.

We booked a full six months in advance and got an excellent rate for Venice (or anywhere for a four star hotel). On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room overlooking the courtyard garden and with a distant view of the Grand Canal. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable (my partner wants to buy one!), room dark and quiet for sleeping, which is an achievement given the proximity to the vaporetto stop. Bathroom large and clean, but the shower doors didn't close properly (one of a few idiosyncrasies that didn't spoil our stay, but caused the rating of four rather than five).

We found it pretty easy to find by walking given its location by the Ca' d'Oro vaporetto stop, but with bags it is a bit of a pain getting over all the bridges. I'd advise getting the vaporetto. The location was good and very central but in tack/tourist central - if I went back I'd be tempted to stay in a slightly quieter area.

The breakfast was good - we don't drink coffee...

Lots of comments recently about the staff - we found them all helpful and charming. The main lady on reception was very helpful and wanted to make sure things were clear and understood, which could be misinterpreted as a bit abrupt. I heard her helping other guests with what I'd consider very basic queries that I'd expect to find out for myself before I arrived - perhaps this tries her patience occasionally ...

For the rate it's very good value and what I'd expect from this kind of hotel. I've paid much more for much less, in (theoretically) less expensive cities.

Very nice Hotel in the middle of venice. You arrive every point by walking in less than 1 hour. The hotel is cery clean, has friendly staff good breakfast and very luxury rooms. We have take a suite for 2 days and we LOVE IT! Fine marmor ground, Antique furniture, a good bed and a big shower! My conclusion Exellent!

Room Tip: spant a lot money to takes suites.

We entered the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with the opulent decor of the lobby. The chandeliers in the hotel are nice and colorful. Our room did not have a view to speak of, just an empty courtyard. We enjoyed the old charm of the hotel and the room. Front desk was helpful when we asked about different options of getting to the airport. I would definitely suggest getting a taxi to this hotel if you arrive by train, as the street names are difficult to find the firsts time there.
