We were recommended this place by hotel staff at the Santa Marina. Although the service was welcoming and friendly the food was ordinary. Not awful, not good, just average. We chose the 18 Euro menu and contrary to previous reviews staff had no issue with this. We ate Spaghetti alle vongole and gnocchi with basil & tomato sauce. Both dishes were decent but nothing special; the flavours of garlic and white wine were missing from the Spaghetti also the Parmazan Cheese was that pulverised, powdery tasteless stuff with no flavour. Our main course were Veal Scalopinni and Fried Mixed Seafood; nothing to write home about. The saving grace was a bottle of Chianti which was excellent and worth every cent of the 25 Euros we paid. We indulged ourselves with sweet enjoying a good Tiramisu and Limonelli ice. A shot if Grappa and Limoncello on the house brought the score back a little and 84 Euros in total for what we had wasn't too bad.
