while driving in the countryside we came across this great place so decided to eat there.
the choice was very good, maybe too much on the menu but our choices were excellent and we will
certainly return when we next visit the area.

We have enjoyed our stay here, the welcome was warm and helpful, there was a good selection on the menu, our meal came in good time and was hot and tasty, the room was well appointed and comfortable, great ensuite, and there was a good breakfast selection, which was freshly cooked and also served pleasantly, we did however make one observation, the noise proofing between the rooms could be improved

I usually have a rule.. if the menu is too big, walk away, wish i had adhered to own advice. so much choice from pizza's to roasts, sandwiches & snacks they can't concentrate on doing on half a dozen dishes really well ...
On the day the roast was belly pork, to me belly pork is beautiful when seved. slow roasted melt in the mouth with crispy crackling skin
when a slab arrives with pink flabby skin and the addition of a steak knife need i go on.....

My family and I Had Sunday lunch today,27/04./2014 at this restaurant. The meat i.e.Lamb and Beef were dry and tasteless the vegetables were dry and over cooked looked like they had been reheated in micro wave. The yorkshire puddings were soggy and mine burnt. We were also overcharged for drinks we had not had. Will not be returning there again.
We were sat next to a radiator covered with tea towels and dusters drying on it.

Attempted a cosy Saturday Evening Meal for four adults. Completely failed by inattentive servers.
Barmaid unable to identify Booking(wrong name recorded) or remember a round of drinks after 30 seconds, Got my order wrong and the waiter insisted it was absolutely correct. How does Beef resemble Lamb?
Overpriced and noisy(Private Party going on in main restaurant) Just don't go!
