“Astonishing, delicious, friendly find in small town France”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

We sprung a family birthday celebration on the wonderful Flibuste team at a day's notice and were not disappointed. From the fun but unobtrusive pirate theme to the delicious breton crepes and yummy cider, not to mention the flawless but fittingly informal service, this place is astonishing. Definitely recommend a stop here.

“An Eatery with Attitude”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

Food to die for, local cider, lovely people who will go the extra mile and, if you like pirates, then your cup is in danger of overflowing! We went there twice even though we were motoring up the Canal du Midi.......

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

We found this place by accident and enjoyed a lovely lunch. They have English menus which were appreciated as our French is somewhat lacking….the waitress was also very helpful. They have a great selection of savory and sweet crepes and their prix fix menu offered good value and variety. Definitely a place we’d go to again!

“Good Crepes”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

Because of the short opening times we called in at lunchtime and booked a table for later in the evening. Nice little place the lady serving us was possibly the owner with her husband the chef, she recommeded some good beers and the crepes were very good both savoury and sweet. Ideal place to take youngsters..

“Aaaargh! Me Hearties!!!”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

It is well worth seeking out this hidden treasure which can be uncovered to the rear of the main town square. Lashings of hearty fare ( well, crepes actually) in a pirate-themed den full of memorabilia. The serving-wench and cook were very friendly and entertaining, and suitably costumed. Brandishing weapons is not allowed so leave your cutlass and flintlock at the door. A must-visit if you have kids, and too interesting to miss even if you don't.
