From the moment that you arrive at this hotel you are greeted with a warm friendly smile. The staff are very helpful and informative and nothing is too much trouble. This was continuous throughout the whole stay. The rooms are of a good size , very clean and modern. We would definitely return here and would highly recommend it to family and friends as it is well worth a visit.

This is a standard Premier Inn with helpful friendly staff as you would expect. We have used it before and this was no different except poor access for my mother. They have one wet room which was already booked so we used another disabled room. My mother has had a hip and two knee replacements and has poor flexibility in her legs. The bath was low but too high for her to get her legs over and in to. The toilet was too low for her to use. The bed was too low but the staff provided risers which we did not know they had and did not think to ask for. It would appear the rooms are designed for wheelchair access but not every less able person is in a wheel chair.
The restaurant next door had a poor selection of food on the night of our stay. we went into the restaurant at 5:45pm on Sunday evening. After much deliberation none of us fancied anything outright from the menu and when we realised that we were all compromising we went elsewhere. Unusual for this sort of place and a first for us. We weren't expecting much but were disappointed just the same.
Other than that it is your usual Premier Inn with lovely helpful staff.

I wanted a hotel in the centre of Liverpool but found that many were fully booked or were very expencive. Also I wanted a hotel with plenty of free parking for a large vehicle and trailer. The Premier Inn North is just off the Motorway junction so is very easy to get to and has plenty of free car parking. It is very easy to get into the centre of Liverpool by train.A 10 minute walk to Old Roan station and 4 trains an hour take you to Liverpool Central in 20 minutes for just £3.60 return. As for the hotel it was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Beefeater next door was very good for breakfst , evening meal or a drink. Would recommend staying here as a base for visiting Liverpool or Aintree races.

Room Tip: book a table at the Beefeater at busy weekend times
