“Pretty good”
Reviewed 27 August 2012 via mobile

I have stayed here before and intend to stay again. One of the best parts of this hotel are the staff who can't do enough for you. They even keep the bar open until match of the day has finished so you can stay in there to watch the football. Which was a good job as none of the televisions are currently working as the freeview signal breaks up all the time. Please get this fixed guys!

It is a premier inn at the end of the day, a few miles out of the city, but if you have a car like we did then it is ideal, especially if like us you were there to watch the football. The food in the resteraunt was good, as was the breakfast. Would stay there again as the price was very good also.

Room Tip: Ask for an odd numbered room, as the even numbered ones are on the side of the main road and can be...

Stayed here for one night after returning from Belfast, very convenient for Liverpool airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant joined onto hotel and serves good food. We had a ground floor room over looking the car park which we wasn't too keen about but it was clean and as we were only there for one night it didn't really matter. However, about 2am someone decided to jump up and down on the floor in the room above us, this went on for about 20 mins and i couldn't get back to sleep. We mentioned this to the guy on reception in the morning and he told us under the their guaranteed good nights sleep policy he would refund us the cost of the room!

Breakfast was very good and set us up for our day at Knowsley Safari park which is only 5 mins away.

We would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. Good value for money and good food.

My husband, 13 year old daughter and I stayed overnight at this Premier Inn en route to Liverpool Airport. Usually we stay at the one at the airport itself but by the time I got round to booking it, the Saver rate had already gone. I booked the Tavistock one instead (£29) when I realised it was so close to the airport; in the morning it only took 10-15 minutes to drive to the secure parking at the airport. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant was fine and good value.

My husband & I stayed at this Premier Inn for one night on 13th June prior to a ferry crossing to the Isle of Man on the following day. We had stayed here several years ago for four days and were entirely satisfied so decided to revisit.

This time we were lucky enough to be allocated room 123, the largest Premier Inn room that we have ever stayed in. We wondered what we had done to deserve such a treat! This room was twice the size of the usual rooms at Premier Inns and had no less than three armchairs to choose from.

We spent an extremely comfortable night here and woke refreshed and ready for the ferry crossing to Douglas on the following morning.

The adjacent Brewer's Fayre provided a good evening meal and we enjoyed breakfast there, too.

The staff at both places were welcoming, helpful and efficient. We'll certainly stay at this Premier Inn again in the future.

we arrived at 12.45 in the morning and the male member of staff was very efficient and courtious and explained everything and off we went to our room. The room was very clean and tidy but very warm.In the morning i went for breakfast and asked if i could take it to the room as my husband was not well and the staff couldnt have been more helpful or attentive. The cooked breakfast was loely and there was plenty to choose from.We would definately stay here again if in the area as it is very close to the motorway.Just down the road is a tesco petrol station and store which was useful for refuelling berore returning home,
