Description: Situated in the main plaza with a magnificent view of the archeological site this is a relaxed easy going (dogs welcomed, kids menu) restaurant. The menu celebrates Mexican flavors with international flair e.g Nopales (edible cacti) with hibiscus fand zuccini flower. Don't miss the seasonal "chiles en nogada". Decor persues to preserve it's old house setting creatively. Great music, attentive service. Los Placeres also has a gallery with art exhibitions.Opened from thursday to sunday. We offer catering service for weddings and special events.

We went to have lunch yesterday. Busy, but mistakes and lack of quality are inexcusable. My son and I have food intoxication, the doctor said it was lack of hygiene when handling food. Also, they served other tables that arrived well over 30 minutes later before us, and instead of apologizing, we were scolded for complaining. Terrible experience

Today tried to get a table for 4 at lunch because of rating at tripadvisor. There was nobody at the entrance. The guy at the cashier was just to busy. Probably the owner. The place was full. I asked the owner, an spaniard guy if there was a waiting list. He called for a waiter-host who told me theres a 40 minute wait, no wait list, theres maybe 3 tables before you. Just have to wait...he told me. My wife is 5 months pregnant and there was no place to seat. I mean if you know that on long weekends is going to be crowded Why not putting a waiting list, a polite manager and host and some chairs for costumers. Its called "service" and "quality".

Buenas tardes

Love the decoration of the place, Inside the salon or the patio outside; both are cool & easygoing.

Not necessary to dress up, just bring some style.

Food is fresh and they have original dishes, a perfect combination between mexican, healthy organic and fun.

They dont have a wine list, and they close early. Make a reservation, specially for Sataurdays & High Seasons.

The moment you enter the place, you are immediately transported to the old times of a quiet old house in a small town, and the aromas coming out of the kitchen are so calm and at the same time, full of flavors ready to be tasted.
I visited the restaurant due to a recommendation. My family and I had just went back from the Malinanlco archaeological site, so we were really hungry. I love places like this; an old traditional house with a green and refreshing garden in the middle ans corridors around it that take you to what used to be rooms.
The food is a great experience in itself.I can only describe it as a fusion of traditional flavors with contemporary accents, both in the presentation and in the taste of each dish.
My favorites were the malinalco soup (a combination of vegetables, mushrooms and chicken broth), the beef with tamarind and chili sauce and of course, the dessert, the "cajeta" crepes with "Cajeta" ice cream and a black coffee were perfect for the end.
Los placeres is a most place to visit when in Malinalco, without a doubt, it will offer you a great experience and unforgettable flavors.

Went to this place by recommendation of TripAdvisor and I have no regrets !!, I ordered the italian chicken breast with goat cheese and portobello stuffed mushrooms and it was the best dish I´ve had in years. I do not recommend the place if you´re in a rush or really hungry because of their slow down culture !!
