We really enjoyed this tour. the place is amazing..

Our guide Javier had a gopro and took us photos and let us downloaded for free. It was a perfect idea I had several pictures with the boobies or swimming with the turtles..
Thank you very much

There is now way visiting Galápagos without been at Tuneles. The most impressive part of the trip. Quiet and contrsat place between sea, rocks and animals. Make this trip special! Impossible to miss it!

A trip to Los Tuneles is a fabulous day out. It's a long day, with a sail out there on choppy waters followed by skillful sailing to ride the waves to calm waters surrounded by lava outcrops.

During our time there were lots of turtles which swam very close to us as we snorkelled. We saw golden rays, white tipped reef sharks, several types of sea creatures including a seahorse. Our time snorkelling lasted about 3 hours, done in two different areas, so you must be confident in the water and have the stamina to keep going. We went ashore for a short time and got close to blue footed boobies, which actually walked up to us not us to them!

A couple of large sandwiches, a drink, piece of fruit and cake was included.

I believe your experience will depend to some extent by the company you do this trip with, so chose and research well.

Several tour companies offer this trip on Isabela, as you walk around town you see it advertised along with other trips. One way of booking is to spend time going into the agencies and see what they have on offer but I recommend you research first before you get to the Galapagos. I researched online at home and liked the look of Pahoehoe Galapagos Tours. When I got to Isabela I went in their office to discuss the tour and was happy with what they had to say about the trip so I booked the trip with them. I found them to be professionally run and well organised and our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable with good people skills.

Great trip very good guide in the water helps (Pahoe tours) snorkelling was 7/10
Only concern is the sea horses are in specific spots very few and likewise the sharks in caves must be really petrified with all these visits
The water was murky again due to numbers of people
Saw giant turtles feeding and a lot more
The actual tunnels will make my highlight reel definite a must see
