We met up here for a family Sunday lunch. The staff treated us as if we went there everyday super friendly and nothing was any trouble to them. The meal it self was an excellent carvery and plenty of it. In fact although we live an hour away we are going back in the near future.

We stopped on spec in the village of Queen Camel that was festooned with colourful Jubilee bunting. The ladies running the pub were charming and whilst we only ate a snack the prawn cocktails and the chicken and bacon salad were imaginatively presented and well crafted. Look at the accompanying photographs. We shall certainly stop here again in the future.

Got given a room with no en suite, no toilet no shower in my room!!! I would of had to of shared a bathroom with the rest of the hotel room. Swapped rooms with a work colleague, got a room with a en suite, because i refused to share a bathroom. The room I ended up with, the carpet was dirty, the carpet was ripped and torn. The bathroom, it is so dated, a bathroom from the 1950's, the shower is tiny, the bathroom light did not work. I woke up in the morning and there was bugs crawling in the bathroom. Absolutely discusted with the rooms. But can't fault the staff!

Didn't stay so can't comment on rooms, but this was one of the nicest pub lunches I've had in a long time! Their ham egg & chips was truly sublime.

Have travelled through Queen Camel a number of times, but never stopped off. Visiting elderly relatives in Yeovil meant this was a convenient stop off near the A303. We were made very welcome, including our dog. Food was very good and there was a lovely welcoming log fire. Could happily have stayed there, but had to go home! We will be back.

whilst out with a group from the motorcycle club we were looking for somewher for lunch and came across the Mildmay Arms. Not one of your over the top gastro pubs but a good locals pub. We were made very welcome and settled in for a pint of local cider and a lush roast sunday lunch. Just off the A303 Sparkford roundabout, ideal stopping of place.

We were looking for a bite to eat on our way from Devon to London and did not want the usual service station stodge. We stumbled upon the Mildmay Arms just of the A303 in the lovely village of Queen Camel. The pub is attractive and the landlady very welcoming. The food is pub fare of a very high quality - we particularly recommend the steaks which were delicious and very reasonably priced. Its convenience and high standard make it a perfect place to stop off for good meal. Really enjoyed it.
