Unpretentious, modest looking building, with a lovely warm traditional atmosphere. Situated away from any busy town in the seaside hamlet of Lodonnec, not far from Loctudy. We went for an evening meal. Six of us (4 adults & grandchildren aged 8 & 5). We were made very welcome, and all had super meals. The children had the 'menu enfant', which was great for them. The adults had various set menus, and all the food was lovely.
The people running the restaurant are friendly and helpful, and the cooking is excellent. We strongly recommend this restaurant.

A rustic s tone building with small number of tables. Went for a week-day lunch. The 15 euro set no choice menu for one which most diners were taking and 35 menu for the other. The good-will is evident from the outset with the table pre-set with some amuse bouche which meant you got them whether you ordered an aperitif or not. These were some chili gambas and bits of cheesy toast. A bottle of ordinary cote de Rhone was 10 euros. The set starter was marinated salmon and a mound of bass tartare. Loved the salmon which was pretty generous given the menu price but I can't take the texture of fish tartare. Cod fresh with a shellfish sauce and plain rice.A fresh strawberry and ice cream concoction for dessert. The 35 yielded an assiette de fruit de Mer and a request not to have oysters (an allergy) yieded a pile of crevettes and two good sized crabs claws. with h/m mayo of course. Pigeon cooked with blackcurrant sauce and potato dauphinoisse. Café Gourmand to follow which is always worth taking to get a variety of mini desserts. Will return for sure.

Near the beach, but unfortunatey without the view on it, this is the place for fine dining in a traditional and warm atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable.

Recommended by our hotelier in loctudy. On the coast. One of those few places where you walk in and everything feels right. Excellent menu concentrating on fish at very sensible prices. Starters and mains were delicious and desserts exceptional. If you are anywhere near then don't miss this place, you wont regret it.

I found this restaurant five years ago and decided to be mean. I decided to keep it a secret. I suspect I am not alone. I have been back several times since and it has been perfectly consistent. This restaurant serves exceptionally good food and the prices are extremely modest. The surroundings are simple and space is limited so you may well have to book. The chef really knows his stuff. I cannot fault anything here and I don't hand out five stars like popcorn. Despite the freshness and quality of the ingredients, the simple subtlety of the preparations and their perfect execution, the personnel here are extremely pleasant, professional and unassuming.

This is a rare gem in a very beautiful part of Brittany.
