“Lovely top notch stylish cottage”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Beautifully decorated, spacious and yet still cosy. Elegant and luxurious decor. Bed was superbly comfortable, linen was glorious. The large kitchen was brilliant and with all modern appliances. Our three children loved the games and there were all the necessities for travelling with a baby ie. cot, high chair, plastic cups etc. The picturesque village was well located for York and the surrounds. We loved it!

“Second visit in 11 months - what else can I say!”
Reviewed 10 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We love this cottage and its perfect location. Being Yorkshire born and bred you wouldn't think much could surprise me about the Yorkshire countryside and all its treasures, but staying at Yew Tree not only makes you appreciate just how much variety the county offers, but the location provides you with easy access to all. The cottage itself is homely yet sophisticated to compete with any high end hotel I have stayed in. We will be back!

“Delightfully authentic”

Very comfortable, (mind your head), delightfully refurbished 200 year old cottage in a quaint village setting, only 50 metres from a traditional English Pub. Nearby Kirkam Priory is worth a look and the cottage has easy drivable access to the historic city of York and the smaller more rural town of Malton. The house was well equipped with everything you could need.
