Just stayed for 5 nights at the Tudor Arms in Bell Busk. The owners Bob & Shiela are fantastic. The ornaments, pictures, Knick-knacks, etc., are wonderful. We even watched the DVD with Bette Davis that includes scenes at the old station. It took us 3 nights to watch the DVD because we kept falling asleep to it! LOL. Trains are definitely not a problem.
And then there's those breakfasts - cerials & fruit, whole grain toast with special jams, & the Full "Monty" English breakfast. We missed lunch every day & didn't even notice!
Anyway, this B&B is not to be missed. If you're in the area, give it a few nights. If not, make a special trip just to stay there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tudor House. Our room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we could wish for. Sheila and Bob made us very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of cereals and fresh fruit and the cooked breakfast left nothing to be desired. Bob was extremely helpful in recommending walks and places to visit in the area. We had been slightly worried that the trains passing by would be noisy, but in fact they didn’t bother us at all. All in all, we can thoroughly recommend Tudor House for its location, beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful hosts, etc. etc.!!

Room Tip: There are only 5 bedrooms - we stayed in Swaledale - a superior double room with en suite. This roo...

A very comfortable and friendly B&B .Our room was The Wharfedale; decorated and furnished to a very high standard with an en-suite to challenge any 5* hotel.
The breakfast was substantial and tasty ,with lots of choice and all ingredients locally sourced. The owners are a mine of information regarding the Dales.
I would recommend Tudor House for a holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.

Room Tip: The Wharfedale is on the side of the railway line but trains pass infrequently and did not disturb o...

A lovely friendly atmosphere, helpful hosts, fantastic breakfast and gorgeous room! There were lots of lovely touches such as fresh flowers in my room and hundreds of DVD's to watch in either the sitting room or in my room. My hosts organised an early breakfast as I needed to leave early in the mornings, I was visiting on business but I would have loved to stay longer & be there to relax! Anyone can find faults when staying in hotels/b&b's but I truly believe that Bob and Sheila provided 5 star service with great attention to detail!

Another lovely relaxing stay at Tudor House. Bob and Sheila are so welcoming, and friendly, making you feel comfortable however long you stay.
Bob's breakfasts are just wonderful, and the local sausages are the best we've ever eaten. The eggs from their own hens are superb, and taste great which ever way you like them. We can't forget Sheila's baking, which is so tasty.
If you want to spend a few days in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, try Tudor House.

If there is one word we love seeing in the reviews that guests are kind enough to leave is it "BEST". As the airline captain always says in his spiel;
"We know you have a choice, so thank you for flying with us".
We would just like to add "and thank you for telling everybody how much you enjoyed it!
Hope to see you soon, either here or there!!

This was easily the best B&B I have stayed in, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and at home.
We arrived and were given a short tour of the building, you don't need to be a railway enthusiast to appreciate the place, it is just wonderful. We were then treated to a coffee and cake outside in the sunshine and were able to relax in the peace and quiet, sit and listen to the birds singing. The odd train rumbling past adds to the comfortable feel of the place.
The views to the front of the house are tailor made to sit and and enjoy a glass of wine and a chat in the evening as night falls.
Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious, it was also very comfortable with a lovely bathroom and a shower.
Sheila, thank you for welcoming us and our boys. It was a real pleasure and we will be back, that will be a first :)

Room Tip: Get what you can, they are all good :)
