We found the Tudor House quite by accident and WOW what a find. From booking to arriving to leaving Sheila and Bob made us feel the most welcome we have ever felt anywhere in the world. They are fantastic hosts going above and beyond the call of duty in more ways than one. The accomodation was beautiful with a relaxing room and a super lounge that my partner and I enjoyed chilling out in each evening to the little touches of candles in the bathroom and the honesty bar in the lounge, they have thought of everything to make our stay a relaxing one. The breakfast was trully scrumptious (thanks to Bob the chef) but we could not manage the big portions and did not manage to finish our breakfast but this was no reflexion on the quality. Sheila and Bob just want everyone to be happy and they go out of their way to make this happen. We booked a meal on saturday evening in Herriots in Skipton which was very nice and highly recommended and Sheila and Bob even drove us to Skipton to drop us off. The Tudor House gets a big thumbs up from us both and we will definaltly be back with the kids and dogs next time. A toast to Sheila and Bob who made the stay so special. See you soon and thankyou. Just returned from a 2 night stay at Tudor house and we can't recommend it enough. Bob and Sheila were excellent hosts, from tea and biscuits on arrival to lending us maps on the day we left.We went for a walking break and need to go back as there are so many in the area. The "full monty" breakfast was wonderful and we found excellent places to eat in the evening in the area. The residents lounge with the log burning stove was an excellent place to relax after a day out on the hills.

We stayed at Tudor House for one night in mid January with our 13 month old daughter. Bob and Sheila really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were extremely helpful with having a baby staying. We had dinner there in the evening which was delicious and very well presented. Likewise, breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable. The family room was great. Although it was one room it was very large and had two separate sleeping areas. They had put up a travel cot and even put some teddy bears out! The setting was very pleasant, not just with all the railway memorabilia but also an abundance of bird life, plus the attractions of Malham close by. We are really keen to stay there again and can't thank Bob and Sheila enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

We stayed at Tudor House over Christmas 2009 and loved our time here. Bob and Sheila made as feel at home and went way beyond the call of duty for us.

The room was cosy with a big comfy bed and a lovely view of the countryside. Breakfasts were excellent as well. We also spent time by the open fire in the living area and just relaxed.

We recommend this B & B to anyone who wants a lovely, relaxing stay in the Yorkshire Dales.

We had a fab time. The hotel, room, service and food was top rate and to think that there is not alot of people that say "treat the hotel as your home". Well Bob and Sheila definately made sure that you were at home. We decided to have the meal on the saturday evening. it was scrumptus and what can i say about the breakfast. It was fit for the queen. We would recommend this hotel to the queen and anyone else. The views are absolutely beautiful even though it was winter. Didint think that we would get a mobile signal, if you go out of the gate and stand near the fence to your right you can get the signal. It was so nice that i am looking to rebook in the summer and yes take the husband.

I would echo everything the two previous reviewers have said. I booked this as a birthday treat for my boyfriend who used to be a train spotter in his youth (each to their own!) and still loves trains. He loved the place so did I and I am not quite a enthusiastic about trains as he is! Bob and Shiela couldnt have been more helpful they were brilliant. I spoke with Bob beforehand to arrange to take my boyfriend out for a meal and he gave me the run down on 5 'local resturants, then once I had made my mind up he booked it for us and drove us to it and picked us up, so we could have a glass of wine or six. The accomodation was lovley with lots of personal touches and the breakfast fantastic. Thank you very much Bob and Shiela we will definatly be back

My colleagues and I stayed here as our end of year get together and Bob and Sheila went out of their way to make it absolutely fantastic. From suggesting a treasure hunt for us to do to helping us organise a meal for a murder mystery.

The Tudor House itself is lovely and as we were taking over the hotel for the evening, we had to lovely living room area to ourselves to play games.

The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the food was lovely and the service outstanding.

Thank you!
