“Perfect for Yorkshire Dales”
Reviewed 22 February 2014 via mobile

Wow what a place, we stayed here in January for 2 nights and even with bad weather, had an amazing stay. We had the family room which is the end of the corridor and I was so pleased to see a shower AND a bath with having a baby! The decor is beautiful and 100% clean (I am fussy) the views out through the French doors were a pleasure in the mornings and the breakfast room, with access to a proper fridge (proper milk) suited us better than the usual in room uht.

See you again soon!!

My wife and I booked in for a 4 night break and we were not disappointed.

Firstly our room was excellent, spacious, clean, comfortable and very warm and cosy.

The shower room was superb.

Upon arrival, Zoe was already showing a couple to their room, she acknowledged us and her young son came and greeted us, he asked us if we'd like tea or coffee and offered us a seat I front of the nice warm stove fire.

Zoe soon arrived and we were checked in.

Zoe & Keith the owners made fantastic hosts, getting the balance just right, being there when needed or just you want to ask a question, to being discrete and private when needed, a skill some owners find hard to judge.

The breakfasts were excellent, so much choice and selection and nothing was too much trouble.

My big pet hate in these places is cleanliness, and I did have a good look, the whole place was spotless, the bedding very good quality and spotlessly clean.

I was invited into their own kitchen to look at something and again it was immaculate. Not just a show for clients, their whole home was very clean.

On our last morning Keith said to me,

" the hardest thing about tut job, is when folk leave, it's like saying good bye to good friends!"

Well as my wife and I drove away that is exactly what we felt and we can't wait to go back.

I wanted something special for my wife's birthday and boy does this place deliver!!
After a warm friendly greeting complete with coffee, cake and a roaring fire we were then shown to our room.
Each room carries a wow factor that cannot be replicated in photos. Beautiful modern decor with little extra touches throughout, so much thought has gone in to making Green Grove the perfect retreat.
Zoe and Keith make wonderful hosts and make every genuine effort to keep you happy. It's easy to see why they have been so successful.
Two cracking nights sleep in the most comfortable of beds followed by a warm powerful shower really sets you up for a day sampling the delights of the Yorkshire Dales. (especially when followed by a beautifully cooked breakfast)
All 3 of us had a wonderful time and we're already planning a return visit in the summer. My little boy enjoyed it so much, he burst into tears when we told him that we had to go home.
I can't thank Zoe, Keith and their son Joseph enough for making us feel so welcome and I look forward to seeing them again soon.
Book a stay at Green Grove and you will soon realise what all if the fuss is about. By far the best B&B I have ever stayed in!!

My fiancé and I stayed at The Green Grove for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year. To reiterate other reviewers, this is a B & B of outstanding quality. We are seasoned travellers but this is by far the best we have ever encountered. On arrival we were greeted with tea & cake by the hosts Keith & Zoe who are genuinely friendly & welcoming people and for whom nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay.

Our room was spacious & of an exceptionally high standard with a large well designed & beautifully fitted bathroom. the bedroom had magnificent views of the Yorkshire landscape & had French doors which lead out to a patio & garden area. What sets the Green Grove apart from the rest is the attention to detail. Every aspect has been carefully thought out, from the quality of the bath towels even down to the Guest Handbook in the room which had vast amounts of information & even included a torch!

Another very clever touch as to provide fresh milk for the hospitality tray via a guest fridge located just outside the rooms, which also had bottled juice & water. We were also able to use the fridge for chilling wine etc.

The breakfast was excellent with an extensive menu & all tastes catered for. The Green Grove is set in a picturesque landscape and there are a good number of excellent pubs/restaurants nearby. We tried the Masons Arms & Coniston Cold (both recommended by Zoe & Keith), these were an excellent choice.

This place is a little gem and we will be back. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Only 3 rooms - all are excellent on all aspects.

We have just returned from a 2 night New Year break with our 18 month old. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Keith welcomed us with tea and cake!! I've never had a welcome like that! We were shown around the guests kitchen, which was amazing. We were then taken to our room which was a very large family room. We had awful weather one day so we were able to stay there and our little girl had plenty of room to play. Zoe was fantastic at breakfast time nothing was too much trouble! It's hard to write all the special little touches as there are so many! The fact that there is a guest fridge with fresh milk was enough to please me! Well you can see from talking to them how much they love their home and it shows in their service. Truly amazing B and B thank you Keith and Zoe.

Location in Bell Busk, not far from Skipton, this is an excellent B&B. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and very well cooked. Yummy. The owners (Keith and Zoe) are very helpful, hospitable and friendly. The location is ideal for walkers (we're not...yet) but also for visiting the local tourist attractions of which there are many. We stayed for two nights and during this time visited the Yorksire Dales Ice Cream Company and American Diner (for our daughters birthday), Skipton, the steam railway at Keighley and Malham.

We would highly recommend this lovely B&B, which is located in a quite beautiiful location.

Green Grove Country House was one the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Keith, Zoe and Ashley (along with their pet dog Archie) were some of the nicest, talkative, helpful and accommodating hosts I have had the joy to know. The House itself is located in a lovely, picturesque area whilst also having good transport links nearby. The pictures of the Rooms do not do them justice (we stayed in the Wharfdale Room); the view from the rooms are spectacular, each room has a door leading out to a patio that allows you to come and go as you please (allowing yourself that little bit of privacy if you wish) and are furnished to an impeccably high standard. The breakfast in the morning is everything you could wish for (and probably more) and Keith and Zoe stock a communal fridge with a variety of juices and water which you can take at your leisure. It is hard not to underestimate the quality of Green Grove and I would certainly recommend anyone considering to visit Yorkshire to indulge in a stay here.
