Stayed for 3 nights and found the King Robert to be a home from home. The room was small and cosy, spotlessly clean, a deep bath for a good soak and had everything that I could possibly need.

I was stayed on a B&B basis and what a breakfast it was, a real Scottish breakfast that filled me until lunchtime(sometimes later). Nothing was a bother for Margaret and her staff. Forgot to say nice hot plates for the food too, this is a big bug bear of mine. Before arriving at the King Robert I had stayed the previous night at the Radisson Blue, Standstead Airport. This hotel is more than double the price of the King Robert and comes nowhere near in it's standards. Plates were stone cold for the breakfast food.

The King Robert's Christmas decorations were beautiful and made the hotel special for all of the parties taking place over the week-end I stayed there and everybody enjoyed their nights not once did I hear a complaint from any of the other guests.

I will be returning to Bannockburn again in April and King Robert will be my choice of hotel again.
Keep up the good work folks, wishing you all the very best for 2014. Teresa Gray

We were here for our Xmas night out with work. It was excellent the staff were fantastic and the food outstanding all freshly made and the dessert omg was delicious. The entertainment was great I was not really looking forward to it as it was lady gaga. However she came on a s Cher first and blew us away she engaged with the crowd fantastically and got us all in the mood. She was great as lady gaga too so a fantastic night had by all. Thank you king Robert and staff.

Just back from a Xmas night out at the King Robert, absolutely fantastic night. Food was piping hot and goood quality, service was perfect. Resident DJ did everything right from taking photos for people, carrying trays of drinks to his non stop great choice of music which kept everyone up on the dance floor all night!! Dolly Parton/Adele tribute was good, however, the party had already started before she came on and got a bit flat for a while. Overall a brilliant night, there were 8 of us and we will definately be back!!

Only good thing was the entertainment which was good. Dinner was very bland and dry and if u want decent food go to the 1314 pub 2mins down the road. Staff have to learn to talk to people as a people. Wont be doing another christmas niteout here again if u want a better niteout go to the rob roy far better service.

Had the best night last night. Lionel Ritchie Tribute and Motown show. Welcome drinks and nibbles lovely. Food was fab. Lorraine and staff pulled out all the stops to make the night go with a bang. Tribute act was fantastic. Resident DJ Gordon hit the spot with his selection of music to keep the party going. Absolutely brilliant night had by all.
