“Nice option for full service hotel”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

This is a good option with familes or if you're looking for a more resort, garden feel. Lots of services, 2 pools, swings in the gardens, walking paths, etc. Big breakfast included and good service. Room was OK, not ultra-modern, but clean and good enough. Some restaurants nearby. Northern Israel is different than Tel Aviv and Jersusalem, so it's sometimes hard to compare properties. This is not a walking neighborhood in the big city sense. This place is technically part of a Kibbutz, but you don't see the living areas while staying on the property.

we arrived in tel aviv may 14, 2014; we were here for a family wedding.

prior to the wedding tho, my mother had arranged for us to take time to tour many different areas in israel. and wow, the time at the hagoshrim kibbutz boutique hotel was just lovely.

private bungalow with two nice bedrooms; a delightful stream just behind our spot and yummy treats to welcome us upon arrival. then there was the delicious buffet in the evening and in the morning. just beautifully prepared food and a lovely space to enjoy it in. honestly, i wish we could have spent more time on the grounds of the hotel as it was situated in a very serene, forest like setting. away from the noise of a city and any chaos that accompanies such metropolitan locales.

if i am ever lucky enough to make a return visit to israel, i will certainly seek out this property. and i would heartily recommend it to anyone. without hesitation.

Room Tip: i would suggest that if you can get a "stand-alone" cabin vs. something that has an upstai...

I spend two nights at the hotel... l was a home of a former Royal prince and gave it to the Kibbutz people. The dining room was his master bedroom.
Ok. This hotel rooms are very confortables and clean. Very honest people. But, WHAT WILL LET YOU SPEECHLESS will be breakfasts and dinner. It's so much variety on salads, chiken, meat, soups, you named they have it. You won't be disappointed. So please make this hotel your next destination!!!

We stayed for two nights and found the hotel to be ok but nothing more. The staff was not very friendly and while they did what was needed they definetly did not go overboard or made any effort to smile while doing their jobs. The rooms were dated and the bed linens were not clean. The outdoor pool closes at 6 PM so after a day of touring you get kicked out of the pool as soon as you get in. There is a indoor pool but the chlorine smell killed my kids eyes. The buffets were plentiful and while the food was hit or miss there was so much anyone would easily find something to eat. The silverware and plates appeared dirty and the water on the tables had floating dirt in them (i strongly suggest buying the bottles water). Overall we had a good time but it's unfortunate that we could not give this resort a better rating because all it would take is friendlier staff and more attention to cleanliness.

The area of this hotel is quite lovely, located in the north of Israel. There is a very big outdoor pool and a good size indoor pool. We took 3 rooms. A standard or classic room that was small with a tiny bathroom and a small patio with table and chairs.(approx $221 a night), than a gallery room with stairs leading to a second bedroom
unfortunately it had a very small balcony and a view of the next building($333 a night) and then a garden suite, two rooms and a lawn outside(approx 400 a night) with table and chairs.
All the rooms were rundown and for those prices they should have been updated. The breakfast was just fair...lots of choices but the food itself tasted below average....rubbery pancakes, cold and hard waffles, etc. My kids and Grandchildren had a good time, but for the high prices of the hotel I expected much more.

Room Tip: Take the Garden suites if you can afford them

We were "upgraded" to this hotel, but we were a party of 3 and they only accommodated for 2, so the room was tiny and not in very good condition. We came there to take a kayaking trip down the river but when we arrived we found out that the kayaking had been cancelled due to low water. We flew all the way from Eilat to Haifa and rented a car to get there. If we knew in advance about the kayaking, we would have stayed in Eilat for another day. Some of the staff need lessons in the accommodation business. One big plus was the food, which was exceptionally good.

I visited this hotel again, but for an additional day and was able to look around the grounds and swimming pool which is huge but a short walk from the hotel building.

On the way, there are glorious grounds to explore, every area beautifully kept and a very lovely waterfall on the way to the pool. It is very clear that the entire outside areas are very well cared for.

Rooms in the main hotel are absolutely excellent, with large bathrooms, walk in showers, and enormous beds. There is a small balcony and on this visit I was lucky enough to have a top floor room, and on opening the curtains, all you can see for miles are forests, greenery and hear the birds sing. It is most peaceful.

Breakfast is very varied with something for everyone. You make your own tea and coffee if you wish so you can guarantee it is will be hot.

The evening meals are also buffet style and again with huge variety. There three dining areas within the buffet area and this is very helpful if there is a larger group so that they can eat together.

The staff are most helpful and friendly and that is always a sign of a good hotel.

Room Tip: There is chalet type accommodation outside the main new hotel building and also in another building...
