Found the cottage with postcode directions. Parking across the road not too much of problem. Cottage clean nicely furnished some of the doors don't close properly and if the stairs door is closed by someone downstairs the person upstairs can't open it and had to knock for help. Rules and regulations took a while to read. A bit of milk would have been nice after our 5hr journey so as to make a brew before we ventured to the supermarket. Be careful in the shower as the floor will flood quickly. The stairs are very very steep and narrow take care . The weather was beautiful for our stay and the cottage is a perfect place to visit surrounding areas.
Anita was very accommodating to our needs and queries.
The cottage was tastefully decorated and clean, however we did feel that the cottage was not child friendly or "old dog" friendly. There were too many steps in the garden and part of the decking area was not fenced off which made it hard for an aging dog with deteriorating sight. There was a broken fence at the end of the garden with nails protruding which we made to move so that our dogs were safe! Also the back gate does not lock and the busy road is extremely close. The stairs were a challenge and the main road was very busy and noisy. No welcome pack of any kind and no initial wood for the fire or even matches. We would not recommend or go back!!
Lovely cottage in ideal location for exploring Suffolk, many thanks for a pleasant stay. Sunshine booked for me time please!
Everything about our stay was perfect. The cottage was lovely, comfortable, cosy spotless and everything in it to make our stay memorable. Would definitely love to come and stay again.
We had a fantastic break in Mill Cottage. It was perfect to take the dog to the beach which is only a short drive away. During the evenings we used the log burner which really warmed the cottage up quickly!
Looking forward to staying again
