We stayed one night as part of the two for one deals at Chessington World of Adventures as it's only 3.7 miles away. Without exception all staff were courteous and made our 7 year old feel like a princess. Our room was clean and had a well appointed bathroom. We had a problem with the TV which was irritating but to be fair someone came up to help quickly but it couldn't totally be fixed and it was too late to move.

We ate dinner in the hotel and we all really enjoyed our meals but it isn't an extensive menu. Kids eat free with a meal off the adult menu. Breakfast was lovely too. There is a hot buffet but you can also order selected items to order.

There is a sign which dip says if you've forgotten certain items to ask at reception. I did and was told that they didn't have what I needed. Annoying.

This is a good hotel with well trained staff. I would recommend and stay in again if we were in the area.

Room Tip: We had a room facing the front and it was nice and quiet.

Just spent a few days at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and very smartly dressed. The room was excellent. All round an excellent and well run hotel. It seems pretty oblivious that the general manager has this hotel running very smoothly, all the staff from front of house, restaurant and room carry out their tasks efficiently and just as importantly cheerfully, well done to all

Stayed here as we were walking the thames path the following day. Car park is 100 yards behind the hotel, which although secure could be a pain if its raining.Nice friendly welcome in receptio, and a nice light open bar and seating area. Outside seating available. Had a very dark room, with a view of a brick wall which was a shame - Several rooms must overlook the river. Easy Walk to Surbiton and 2 miles from Kingston. Rooms as expected, with good antimist mirror in the bathroom and good towels and nice linens. Shower not great, but at least detractable. No room safe, but bathroom scales provided??! Bed was pretty awful, which meant i had to roll towards my wife! :-)

We had a lovely one night stay, attending the nearby Happy Days Festival. Room was small but very clean and modern. We had a room looking out onto the river at the side of the hotel. Lovely view, but with only one wobbly balcony chair, we could not sit out together for a drink in the afternoon or next morning when the sun was shining.Staff were very helpful and the Reception, bar & breakfast service was excellent. Breakfast was good quality and varied selection. The hotel is well located for Hampton Court Palace and walks along the Thames. We will be back for next years Festival.

A Sincere Thank You for your Great Feedback. I am delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed your recent stay at Holiday Inn London Kingston South.

I will certainly share your positive comments with the Team, who endeavors to exceed the expectations time after time. I am glad you enjoyed the breakfast and enjoyed the Hotel’s ideal location by The Thames, conveniently placed between Historic Hampton Court and delightful Kingston High Street for Branded Shopping. Perhaps, the next time you should try our Chef’s special Menu for Lunch and Dinner and you may even take advantage of Private Boating on the Thames.

We eagerly look forward to welcoming you back soon.

I stayed here for one night while on buisiness. Hotel very clean with helpful staff. There seems to be some building works currently as the view I experienced from my bedroom window was blocked by ample scaffolding poles erected all around. However, room was very comfy as was bed.
Top Tip:- When booking this hotel ask for room overlooking River Thames as some have their own balcony.!
Drinks in hotel bar very expensive. Pint of cider £4 and Gin&Tonic over £8.! Nice pub just opposite hotel. (another top tip.!)
Breakfast was good with all the usual buffet style hot self service.

Spent three days at the Holiday Inn in Kingston while visiting Chelsea Show. We found the Hotel to be excellent. A coach party of 40 people ascended on them early morning, they accommodated us by holding our luggage, and then transferring it to the allocated rooms prior to our return in the afternoon.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. restaurant suggestions, directions, and help with Wi Fi, nothing was a bother to them.
The rooms are clean, very comfortable, and have a welcome tray. Breakfast also was excellent.
We would certainly use this Hotel again, if we were in the area.

Room Tip: I would like to have a Thames View room next visit.

First visit, stayed 4 days for a business event. Hotel is a smart business hotel in a poor location for public transport. Hotel is new and well kept with a small but good gym. Lobby areas have limited seating for the evening, but a decent bar, apart from breakfast which was a buffet I did not eat in the Hotel, they use the same restaurant for all meals. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are small but all are clean. Nice touch in the evening with a complimentary muffin delivered to the room. There are some rooms which have the bathroom door facing the bed, this would be fine only the door is opaque and offers a view to your partner using the loo.
After saying all this the staff are amazing and go out of there way to help with a travel cup of coffee to set you on your way. Perfect for business, too far from London for family travel, not near to transport.

I am sorry to hear that the Hotel Location was inconvenient to you during your stay. We are a 10 minute walk or under 5 minutes Taxi ride to Surbiton Train Station, which offers excellent connections to London Waterloo and the journey concludes in swift 20 minutes.

On behalf of the Team of Holiday Inn London Kingston South, I sincerely appreciate your kind words praising the staff, which is a great reward for the hard work.
