“Perfect place for a peaceful break”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This house was lovely and is more spacious than the pictures imply. There is great light in the house and the front terrace gets the sun for most of the day. Nic the owner could not have been more helpful or friendly. You can always tell the owners who want you to have a good time and he is definitely one of those. Everything is well appointed and well thought out, you will not need to bring anything! We had a great few days despite a day of rain where the house and its dvds provided a welcome respite. The beach is a short walk away and rye a short drive. Hastings is fairly close and I would recommend a visit here to see the lovely pier. Would book this place again it is peaceful and at the same time, close to everything. The dog had a good time too!!

“A wonderful cottage near the beach”
Reviewed 8 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Our whole family enjoyed the time we spent at Waves. The cottage was very clean and well equiped. Nic was a very nice host who also provided us with milk, apple juice, snacks and flowers which was very lovely and we really appreciated it! Camber Sands was only a five minute walk away which was also a huge bonus. We would a hundred percent recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a cosy and qiet house near a beautiful beach.

“Lovely cottage for a relaxing break”

We love The Waves, it was really well appointed with everything we needed and just minutes from the beach too. Communication with the owner was quick and she was really helpful when we asked questions.

A lovely base for a relaxing week.

Cottage exceeded our expectations on arrival. So well equipped to a very high standard, beautifully appointed and comfortable, felt very homely. Brilliant location, walk to the sandy beach, shops and beach bars. Stayed here with my elderly Mum, 18month old twins and greyhound and partner joined later, catered perfectly for us all. Nic was so helpful with my enquiry, warm, friendly and efficient. He kindly provided 2 high chairs and assembled a travel cot and stair gate, so all ready to go when we entered. Also safe, easy, private parking to the rear and enclosed decked area to the front, also facilitated peace of mind with dog and toddlers. Lots of extra touches meant our holiday got off to a great start. Easy drive to visit Rye too. Couldn't fault anything! Thank you Nic, your accommodating nature made it for us!
