“Perfect in every way”
Reviewed 13 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

I have recently returned from spending the weekend at Marsh view cottage and I can honestly say it is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in the UK. Tony and Sue have gone above and beyond with every detail from the welcome basket to fluffy robes and slippers.
There is a cupboard extremely well stocked with items you may need for days out, there are bikes in the shed and plenty of games (including a wii) and dvds for all ages.
The cottage was spotless and there has been no expense spared when it comes to the the finer details which is why, for me, it stands out as being so special.
The stunning, sandy beach is within walking distance and Rye is a few minutes drive away.
My mum, daughter and I were sad to leave and therefore can't wait to return another time.

“Excellent, every wish catered for”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Welcome basket superb, every wish has been thought of and more. Cannot praise highly enough. It is like a home from home and we have had a lovely relaxing break. Nearby Rye is lovely and interesting to look round and we loved nosing round the antique shops. Can't wait to come back!!!

A lovely cottage with first class facilities. Close to the beach and a good base to explore Kent and Sussex. Great views across the marshes and of local wildlife. Highly recommended.

“One of the best cottages we have stayed in.”
Reviewed 11 April 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Marsh View Cottage is everything you could wish for. Excellently equipped, the most wonderful welcome basket with scrumptious goodies inside, as well as the essentials after a long journey. We loved the beach at Camber and Rye was a delight. The cottage is ideal for looking around the East Sussex area. We had a lovely week. Highly recommended.

Liked best: The welcome basket. Truly amazing.
Liked least: The bed was a little small for us, but we are used to a Super King, so this is not a criticism.

“A very special cottage”
Reviewed 14 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Just returned from a week at Marsh View Cottage.
Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and in an ideal location for the beach and for exploring the beautiful towns and villages close by.

The owners attention to detail is second to none and the welcome basket a real treat.

Thank you.

Suzanne and Tim

“Ideal”

Films get made here, the Monuments Men being the most recent to use Camber sands.
Surrounding villages, the old coastline, the Norman invasion, the smuggling communities and the seascape hold your attention, any time of year.
Marsh View cottage is expertly managed, very well appointed and in January a peaceful hideaway base for exploring the area and of course walking the sands. Or dog was welcomed and provided for; the Sands were exhilarating terrain for her. There's an excellent farm shop nearby for daily supplies, the roads about are fun to drive and the local restaurants and pubs make great feeding and ale-ing. Local game meat is fresh and inexpensive. The Marsh View owners guide one in and out with a professional lightness of touch. It's well done.
