“Amazing place to celebrate”
Reviewed 18 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This was for our 20th wedding anniversary. We lost 3 parents in the last 7 months, and after getting married in Antigua 20 years ago on the 15/5/97, being able to go somewhere this special with our little dog was amazing and a chance to reflect on recent events. Apart from a freezer issue which Julie next door sorted right away, we felt ourselves relax and finally ready to celebrate. Luxury doesn't do it justice, and the quiet sandy beach and on your doorstep views of the sea made it even more special. Will definitely book again, just wished we had booked it for longer this time. Thank you so much for letting us bring nali, couldn't have gone away without him.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 29 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed at Sea Gem for several nights and found it to be stunning in many ways. Situated right on the beach the incredible views along the shore line are mesmerising. Each shift of light is caught on the water and along with it you are left with magical memories of sun sparkling on the water. Early morning walks along the beach are rewarded with coming back via the local general store and to sit down to a nice breakfast ( which you must supply yourself) on the deck whilst reading the newspaper you have just collected from the store.

The house is extremely modern and very comfortable. Sitting at the large windows looking out at sunset with a glass of wine is an absolute luxury. With Rye and Hastings close by there is a lot to do in the vicinity and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who would like a relaxing time by the sea.

“Total bliss”

Arriving up a very pot holed gravel track to the back of the house I was really worried that our dream weekend would not live up to expectations but how wrong I was. The house was stunning and the views of the beach and sea totally amazing. Wherever you are in the house the design allows you to bring the outside in and enjoy the changing view from every window. Although stunning the house is also extremely comfortable and was loved by all. With an en suite for each bedroom everyone enjoyed their privacy whilst making the most of the open plan living. The house is well equipped and we all loved every second we spent there. Just be aware all staircases are spiral and could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems and young children. If you love the beach I can't imagine anywhere better to stay whatever the weather.

“'The perfect weekend!'”

My husband and I and a few friends came here for a birthday weekend and it was just perfect. The feel of the house when you walk in the door is amazing and there is so much attention to detail. Each of the 4 rooms are unique with their own style. The showers are huge, the beds are luxurious, the views from the bedrooms are so fresh and stunning. The master bedroom is the most beautiful room I have ever slept in, with panoramic glass half way around the room over looking the sea, waking up to that view all weekend was really special. We spent the days walking on the beach and the evenings curled up by the fire chatting and watching films. The most amazing moment was the sunset from the main lounge area on the 1st floor, absolutely breathtaking. The kitchen is large and fully equipped and even has a instant hot tap- we had coffee and tea galore! I think my favourite part of the house is the huge glass lounge windows that overlook the sea, there is no where like it and so you feel like you're in a dream, just so beautiful and peaceful. You have to go to this place to believe it, it's even better than the pictures. You will never forget your time here

“Sea, sand and spectacular scenery”

This house has everything inside and out that you could ask for. Huge amounts of space, with 3 separate areas inside to lounge in, all with spectacular views, including a cosy fireside lounge. The en-suite bedrooms make it hard to get out of bed, sharing the beach views. Outside, apart from the amazing beach, there is plenty to do in and around Camber and Rye; we loved playing golf, tennis and squash. The house name sums it up nicely. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

I went to Camber with a group of friends and it was one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. If you love being by a beach, the is the perfect place to go to relax and unwind. The house itself is phenomenal and every part is built to the highest spec with a contemporary style. My favourite thing to do is sit upstairs and watch the sunset.
