I love this place. So many good food and relaxing atmosphere. Some product can be a bit pricy but the veggie here indeed taste better!

“Lovely market - gets busy though ”
Reviewed 30 November 2013 via mobile

Marrickville has a great market with a huge selection of stalls, not just organic food. Located behind the market is also The Bower, a reuse/recycle 'store', open seven days and one of my highlights of visiting the market!

I highly recommend the lamb roll near the entrance from Addison Road.

Go early, leave early - it gets very busy with lots of prams in the late morning through lunch.

“Nice little weekend growers market.....”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

This market is located on the Addison Road Community Centre. It shares the location with Reverse Garbage which is open as well, so you can pick up the odd knick knacks. This market is essentially about fresh organically grown food and produce. You can find all kinds of prepared foods to eat on the spot, you are entertained by performers playing music, there is a children's area where they can do some hard playing and blow off some excess energy. You can have a massage, have a Tarot or Spiritual Reading if you are into the unknowable. You will find a range of non food stalls selling jewellery, books, and clothing. I found a very talented young Greek woman who makes jewellery with a stall there; there are recycled books and clothes. There are spaces for sitting and enjoying a coffee or a cool drink. There are queues for the coffee. If you run out of cash there is a portable ATM. A really good feature is plenty of parking. One thing though worried me a bit, it was a hot day and there was a seller there offering fresh seafood. Yes there was plenty of ice, but this is one product that needs special care and storage. It made me wonder if there was any application of food handling standards. Seafood goes off really quickly. All up a really great half day out, and who knows, you may even find a small treasure while you are there. For sure you will find something great to eat and some fresh vegies to take home. I enjoyed a massage, but be warned, you have to queue for this, so book in early.

“Love it!”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

Fabulous market with a massive choice of organic produce, household needs & very friendly stall holders. It's next to the recycle place so you can also find those wonderful little treasures or oddments, or even donate!
I love this market - some terrific stuff, some very different stuff - all with a quirky twist.

“Full of things to buy and look at.”
Reviewed 2 August 2013

This is situated, in a community centre area, there is parking, and lots of stalls, no shortage of places to eat, and there is a huge cross section of people that you see there.
Family orientated.
Petting area for Children, and coffee for the slightly older folks.
