Havent been in here for years but was desperate for a drink as we passed. Sadly we were too late to eat but we did see that the food looks good so have noted it for our next visit.
Excellent friendly service and well kept beer.
Nice decor with a good seating area to the right as you enter in comfy chairs . Would imagine even with the hardwood floor its quite cosy in the winter.
One of the best things was the fantastic internet !

We booked a table to eat at the Coach and Horses after reading the reviews on Trip advisor, and I am so glad we did. The food was superb, and very reasonably priced. Barry the host couldn't have been friendlier and the service not only perfect, but when we explained that we were on holiday, Barry gave us maps and brochures, along with practical advice regaarding where to go with the children. A lovely evening and we will certainly return, if we go back to Cornwall again on holiday.
Thank you

Attending for Sunday lunch (first time I've been in the pub since the 80's) the pub has been done out nicely, the décor and furniture modern looking. The service was pretty good, the staff attentive and despite the fact that it was a carvery you were invited up by table to get your meal. There was a bit of confusion between main course and dessert and a delay here, there was a large table in and they seems to take the staff attention. Other than this small blip the meal was very good, I had beef and turkey (a good serving of meat not a wafer thin slice like some places) and the dessert, roulade, was very nice. We would go back.

Had a lovely meal here tonight. My partner had monkfish with new potatoes ... yummy.
A very friendly welcome from the (one) guy working ! He managed to work the bar and serve food as a one man show !
Really tasty food and a lovely relaxed setting. Apparently the chef was also alone in the kitchen and was only 21 years old ! The food coming out looked delicious ( albeit a bit slow).
Definitely worth a visit, a very friendly pub serving great, tasty food x

We went here on the last night of our holiday in Cornwall and I would say we saved the best for last. The food was absolutely delicious, the bill for food and drinks reasonable and the staff welcoming.

We had the stilton crusted fillet steak and the Americano burger - both flavoursome and well presented. The only downside was that we were too full for dessert!

If you have a healthy appetite and fancy a challenge then go for the Famous Coach Stack - we saw one served to another table and you need eyes as big as your belly!

The owner was friendly and as he lives locally was able to give some good tips, always useful if you're visiting the area.
