“Heavenly relaxation”

Our family has stayed at Dalegarth several times over the last seven years and its just gets better. The cottages are comfortably furnished and the views stunning. I just love the kitchens and the lounge furniture (seating) has recently been replaced which is a great improvement for comfort. Everywhere is always spotlessly clean. My husband thinks Dalegarth is his favourite place for relaxing. In good weather the location is brilliant - no need to move the car all wek if you enjoy walking as there are good walks on the doorstep. Its a stones throw away from the pub and the Westwinds Tea Shop is to be recommended. I can't wait to return.

Very well equipped cottage with good size heated indoor swimming pool. Lovely location & stunning views from the upstairs living room. Sauna is great after walking up Buckden Pike on a cold winters day! Very friendly owners but you need to take your own tin opener or a Swiss Army Knife (only joking David & Susan)!

Susan and I do thank you for your encouraging review. It is sad to say that it is only now that we have had the chance to 'acknowledge' your generous comments. By way of an update, sadly the pool is no more; we do, however, strive to maintain and improve standards within the cottages - most recently we installed telephone and wi-fi connections. One thing has stayed the same - you can still enjoy the sauna after a day of walking! We do hope that you can be tempted to return, when you can be assured of a warm welcome. Our sincere regards. David and Susan
