Stayed here for 2 nights. First night was fine but the 2nd was a Saturday and the hotel obviously thinks it's fine to have a disco going on until 1am without sufficient sound proofing. Made it very hard to sleep and the person on reception said they would ask to turn it down but it never happened. The hotel is not set up for this kind of thing but they do it anyway. Not caring for the guests.

Very attractive building and lovely bedrooms let down by:
1. smelly hand basin in the bathroom, clearly partially blocked as the water took forever to run away.
2. Razor point failed to work in the bathroom.
3. Our neighbour asked if she could borrow our hotel hairdryer as hers didn't work - on inspection, ours was very dodgly held together with tape.
4. Ordered poached eggs on toast for breakfast; didn't expect dry toast with no butter!! Yuk - had to ask for butter to butter it myself!

Room Tip: Ask for a large double - the smaller ones are tiny.

We stayed with our 18-month-old for 2 nights for a wedding in Windsor.
The rooms are average. We stayed in Koala House just next to the railway crossing by the hotel. Parking was easy and included there. Planes and trains v. audible, but we're used to that sort of thing - some won't be and light sleepers should bring a good book, or a least a long one. We booked a small double room, and it is as described, but perfectly fine.
Breakfast was pretty good, an average full English, and a veggie version of the the full English, nicely done. The waitress was polite and helpful if seemingly overworked.
Koala House corridor and room very warm, but the room did have two good electric fans and air conditioning so that was fine. Window fittings dodgy, but at least we could open the window. Comfortable bed. Bathroom average/satisfactory - bath with rain shower unit, all worked fine. Reception staff very helpful - we arrived after midnight and the receptionist showed us to our room with no fuss.
When we got home we realised we'd left a laptop charger in the room so we phoned to ask about it. The staff called us back to let us know they had it, posted it and (took small postage charge, didn't choose pricey courier) and were very friendly to deal with.
The hotel has a feeling of slight neglect and that the admin and running of the place is not exactly 100%, but that the staff manage to hold things together. The staff are friendly and helpful and that really makes a difference.
We'd stay there again.

My partner and I stayed here for one night in July, our room was small but we didn't pay a lot for the nights stay so it was appropriate, however the TV would not stay on (dodgy connections). The guy at the reception desk tried 3 times to get it working and in the end said I'll move you to another room... It was fabulous 4 poster bed, large spacious bathroom and a fully working TV. What a nice and considerate thing to do and we had a lovely stay. On the downside, should of defo brought the old ear plugs as the flight noise was pretty considerable, but only slightly detracted from the stay.

Everything was great , but the music in the dining area was offputting at times, Good music but not the right place for it. Just easy listening would be better. I wonder why the Pub next door is jam packed and your restaurant is empty for dinner? Need a pub atmosphere?

Thank you for another wonderful stay!
Since getting married at this hotel last year we have stayed at The Manor many times, both as a couple and also with family and friends. The Manor is an elegant hotel in the most idyllic village setting. Whether you want to enjoy Datchet (one of the most beautiful English villages!), explore the River Thames by boat, walk up to Windsor castle or go into London from the transition on its doorstep - The location is perfect.

There is free on-site parking and the hotel has a great bar & restaurant. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. A lovely breakfast can be enjoyed whilst people watching (lively village!). The management and staff are the heart and soul of this hotel. Nothing is ever too much. It’s just like being home from home… but without the chores and plenty of time to relax
We look forward to returning very soon.
