enjoyed but felt too much commercialism and found some flaws: - checkout time is too early at 11am. pick up for boat going back to BKI is at only 11am and 1pm. is the resort trying to make us eat lunch at the resort? we felt inconvenience and the resort's commercialism. - too many loud nuisance guests. They annoy us and we couldn't relax much. Especially at the breakfast restaurant and waiting lounge for cruise. is it so becasue it is chinese new year period? the resort could change the target customer to more sophisticalted customers. - too much garbage on the surface of sea. someone pointed out this before our travel but we ourselves felt this again upon arrival. We didnt feel like snorkelling. We saw many snack plastic bags or disposed sandals on sea, all of which disappointed us. The resort need to clean garbage at least once a month. - staff assigned to our room was like kids. The butler couldn't even explain the room facilities. Of course some stff were very very helpful when I was in need of help, but generally stff were like kids. I think stfaff are striving to do their best and this is not staffs problem but management problem. Having said that, the transperancy level of the sea was not bad (at least better than langkawi) and restaurant food was expensive but good (breakfast need to be improved though) We felt that the resort was not worth staying by paying the flight to BKI and paying this rate. We know many good resorts in Malaysia or any other parts in asia which provides better service&facilities for more reasonable price.
