This one really surprised us as it was not as popular as the other ones in this area. It was a nice hike and the natural bridge is really cool to see. A must see in the region.

The bridge is at a pull off on the Emerald Lake Road. The Kicking Horse River has carved a notch in the rock which appears as a natural "bridge" There are good interpretive signs at the site to help understand the geological processes at work and a good trail system on each side of the river. with viewing platforms.
Worth a stop on the way to Emerald Lake but not a destination in of itself.

Okay, This will not be a typical review of this attraction since we didn't visit this attraction the same way that majority of visitors come look and take pictures of the Natural Bridge. Let me start by giving some history to the Natural Bridge:

In the olden days visitors to this Natural bridge were allowed to climb over the Natural Bridge but due to the amount of visitors this was stopped to try and preserve the Natural Bridge for future generations; so a new viewing platform was build down stream from the Natural Bridge to keep majority of the visitors away from the Bridge.

When we last visited the bridge we decide to take an up close personal view by walking over the bridge leading to a different unique aspect of how powerful the water is and how the Natural Bridge was created by the force of the water. It provides a unique picture with people actually standing in the bridge with the Mountains in the back ground.

Worth a visit, you can get some pretty cool pictures here. It's only small and just one of those oddities nature likes to throw out again. It's free - aside from the payment to drive through the national parks of course.

It is a great spot for taking pictures and sets you up well for day at the emerald lake . Worth a visit but do not spend more than 15 minutes !!
