Ii have been to several functions at Prested Hall and more recently was there for a wedding. We were so impressed that we have since booked our own wedding there in June 08.
The ten rooms of the hotel each have their individual character with a mix of doubles, twins and family. I understand that there are some new serviced appartments recently opened, though have not seen these as yet.
The main house has a really relaxing feel. I particulary like the drawing room/library with its high backed arm chairs and the panelled walls of the dining room.
In the summer months a marquee is available for the wedding breakfast and then the party moves into the house for the evening with the spacious orangery and dining room.
Whatever your visit entails, be sure to head over to the sports club and watch (or participate) in a game of Real Tennis. It is totally intriguing. I had a free introductionary lesson and am now hooked!More
