Tucked away in a quiet corner of Dorset this lovely old farmhouse offers great accommodation in a tranquil rural setting close to the sea. The rooms are beautifully appointed with lovely comfy beds, fluffy white towels and lovely smelling lotions and potions in the bathroom. The breakfast has great choices, including free range eggs and home produced bacon and sausages, which are delicious by the way.
Annette will give you a warm welcome - we had tea and apple cake on arrival - and will do everything she can to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

Just had a wonderful weekend at Kimmeridge Farmhouse with my family for my 50th Birthday. Could not of been better! Beautiful place. Rooms and breakfast unbeatable, friendly happy staff who felt more like family. Two amazing meals at Clavells Restaurant. Can't wait to return! Huge thank you.

Annette has thought of everything here, including a wine fridge for guests, we just wish we had brought a bottle. We had two rooms, one twin and a king double. Both are amply spacious and well equipped. breakfast is 8.30-9.15 and of excellent quality. We have no particular recommendations to visitors except to say everything was good to excellent.. Also check out the Clavels restaurant also owned by the farmhouse....just superb and only a short walk from your bed!!

We stayed for one night whilst walking a 72 mile stretch of the SW Coast Path. Kimmeridge Farmhouse was the most comfortable place we stayed. An "opulent experience" is no exaggeration. The breakfast was excellent, seated around the large dining table with a chance to exchange information and stories with other travellers. Other meals can be had at Clavells, just 100m away but beware, Clavells is not always open in the evening and for walkers with no means of transport this could be a problem as the nearest pub is about 2 miles away.

Recently stayed for 3 nights at this marvellous B&B. Annette was very welcoming and the breakfasts were great - set you up for the day ahead! No problem with my vegetarianism! The room we had was no.2 - such a comfortable bed we had no problem relaxing with a good nights sleep. The shower was great - everything worked and was just as you would have wanted it! Better than home infact! The local area is great for walking, birdwatching and has lovely scenery. Kimmeridge Farmhouse good base for visits to - Brownsea Island, Arne - RSPB reserve, Durlston Country Park - walks along the coastal path, Swanage - quaint seaside town with steam railway (do good sunday lunches aboard train later in season - see my post last year). Best local eating places - Corner Restaurant in Swanage, Castle Inn in Corfe Castle. The only downside for our visit was the wet weather but what a treat to return to the warmth and peacefulness of Kimmeridge Farmhouse. Thanks for a lovely stay and we so hope to return soon.

Just returned from another wonderful week at Kimmeridge Farm House, our home from home that we have enjoyed for many years.
Spotlessley clean and comfortable, excellent breakfasts always served with a smile and intelligent conversation from Annette. Ideal location for walkers and the not-so-young.
Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage, Portland, Tank Museum etc. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and many Jurassic Coast highlights are within easy reach. Superb location for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts. Light pollution is almost non-existent for star-gazers.
Hospitality 10 out of 10. Breakfast 10 out of 10. Location 10 out of 10.
Please do not book the deluxe room in late October, we want it !
Just one note for Amanda; if you can make it to Corfe Castle in 10 minutes you are driving far too fast ! Chill out ... it's Dorset.

We were hiking the South West Coast Path and booked for just one night. This was one of the nicest B&B's we had stayed in on our entire hike over 6 weeks. A really lovely village and beach nearby. The lovely old house has been renovated to provide an opulent experience. It was like staying in an old country house but with style. If I lived in the UK this would be a place I would head to for frequent stays.
