A bit further up from the many tourist attractions is this fantastic, huge park - quiet frankly: Best of it is the entrance fee - a tiny amount for such a great place. The trail above the trees with fantastic view over the valley and the mountain opposite is worth the visit alone, the whole botanical garden is a fantastic learning experience - from rare local plants and orchids to the herb gardens - and the center which teaches organic farming.
There is a souvenir shop with great value for money items: Coffeetable books about wild orchids, T'shirts, souvenirs. Thouroughly enjoyed their coffeeshop as well.

There are so many places to explore in here from the treetop walk to buildings with different ecologies in them. The orchids and other flowers were incredible. You can drive from area to area for people less able to walk distances. There is a restaurant where you can take a break and eat fresh food outdoors but under cover.

Beautiful gardens that are well maintained. Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend a huge amount of time here, so allow yourself plenty of time. Tree canopy walk was a great experience.

I'm 70 in reasonable health but not particularly fit. I find the emphasis on cars quite misleading. I walked the whole route- sure it's a bit steep in places but just take it slowly.
Highlight for me was the "nature trail" through all the vegetation seen from the canopy walk. Unfortunately it's not well marked until you actually get on it - then it's easy - much easier than the steep grades on the road. I discovered it at the Ginger garden
