I took my parents, who were visiting from Victoria, to Windward Passage for three nights. We had a two bedroom apartment on the fourth floor. The apartment was well appointed, spotlessly clean and very spacious. The views were lovely. From the outset Mary and Harley were warm, friendly and professional. The units are located in close proximity to shops and also the water at Golden Beach. There are some lovely flat walking paths nearby. Security is very good too. The only tricky thing was manoeuvring into the garage, our spot was at the end of a row and quite a challenge to get in and out of. However, everything else was great. We would definitely go back. Thanks Mary and Harley for making our stay so pleasant.

Room Tip: The view from our floor was good, more expensive upper floors would have better views. Our room had...

Mary and Harley are truly awesome hosts! The hotel is perfectly situated walking distance to town attractions but right on the beach and away from the congestion of the city centre. Everything is spotless and Harley and Mary have taken attention to detail to new levels. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and extremely well appointed.

Fantastic is how we would describe our stay.
Greeted warmly by Mary and upgraded to the 7th floor.
Everything we could need and more. Massive wrap around balcony with stunning views.
Our grandchildren 9 and 11 said this is awesome.
Television in our own bedroom, a bonus.
Did not have to sit and watch cartoons early morning in lounge room.
Undercover enclosed garage a bonus.
When can we come back.
Just fabulous.

Room Tip: Any room would be great.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here and couldn't have found a better place to relax and celebrate our new retirement after selling our own motel. The view was glorious and we loved watching the boats passing by and the city lights at night. We were on the 8th floor with huge balconies, a comfortable bed and spacious ensuite. Lots of walking tracks just out the door and the close proximity of shops, cafés and clubs meant I did not cook at all. Loved it and would definitely return.

We spent a family long weekend in a three bedroom sub penthouse at Windward Passage and had a thoroughly enjoyable time .
The unit had a magnificent view and was spacious and comfortable .
A well equipped kitchen was a bonus allowing some exploration of cooking skills.
The master bedroom was especially roomy and the en suite was almost the size of some hotel rooms!
The other bedrooms were smaller but more than adequate .
All in all an excellent choice.

My sisters and I spent 8 nights on Level 8, room 26. Although the rooms need a little refurb to bring them up to date our stay was still magic !!
The views are spectacular from all directions. Kitchen was well equipped, master bedroom and en-suite are huge ! Unfortunately the 3rd bedroom is very small, that was the only real downfall of the unit.
The new Managers Harley and Mary are really lovely people and we look forward to seeing them again next year.

We stayed in an apartment on the 6th floor, which had a great kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, microwave dishes, even storage dishes, it was just like a home away from home. The view from the balcony is amazing and forever changing with boats, kite surfers and passing ships. Our unit was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone, it had 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 had an ensuite and bedroom 2 & 3 had a divider down the middle so this was perfect for our son and daughter-in-law and their young son. The unit was central to the shops, eateries and beaches. The newspaper at the door each morning was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend to anyone wanting value for money.

Room Tip: Unit 19 on the 6th floor
