Lovely setting and friendly staff. Plenty of choice on the menu.
Had lunch with a friend and we chose 2 starters each rather than a main course. ... chicken wings, Thai fish cakes, mushrooms in cheese sauce and deep friend brie- All delicious and accompanied by a good white wine.
We couldn't resist the home made puds and opted for the cherry roulade... yummmmy. Tea was good and served in a pot but I would have liked a small, strong cafe con leche. The coffee was too weak for my taste. The bill was about 40 euros - Good value.
I missed out on the " egotistical megalomaniac" so hopefully I'll meet him on my next visit. I will return soon.
