Having been told about this restaurant and seeing such great reviews we thought we would try...
We were offered a table inside or out and as there was a couple smoking near by we opted for inside.
It's like walking into an old colonial building with huge Indian lights and mirrors.
The kitchen is part of the restaurant so you can see the food being cooked fresh to order.
We opted for a mixed platter to start and that was "ok" and then we thought have we made the right choice as We like spicy food and it was tasty not spicy......
For our mains we opted for the chicken damsak and chicken sag which were first class. We also had the special sweet rice with some extra chilli added and also a garlic chilli nan. It's not on the menu but they were happy to accommodate our requests.
The service has been very attentive and the deserts are very modern.... The owner also owns the ice cream shop next door so we got up (he did offer to tell us the flavours) and went and choose them to be served at the table and added to one bill !!
I was a piggy and had an ice cream sundae with chocolate sorbet ice cream and other delightful flavours.
All I can say is, it might be a fairly new restaurant but it's got great reviews because the owner and the staff strive to deliver great food and great service. Long may it continue.
Would highly recommend.
