Just back from 7 days in appt Sofia 206, a one bed apartment. Well furbished, clean, spacious, good kitchen, and a balcony with close sea view.
Handy for the beach, near the more family orientated pool.
Facilities look a bit tired, food on site was poor, and resort staff attitude not overwhelming. No free Wi-Fi!!!!!!
Good supermarket just over the main road and excellent cheap bus facilities to all main towns(except having to change bus to P.Banus). Brilliant efficient train service from Malaga airport to Fuengy, and super cheap.
Marbellla and Banus worth seeing-far more developed and posher than 25 yrs ago!!!
Numerous restaurants within walking distance, not too classy (noise from dual carriageway, and precincty),but reasonably priced and amiable, food varied and decent quality

Room Tip: nearer the seafront the better

The resort was lovely, very spacious suites with plenty of kitchen accessories to make your stay convenient. The resort itself does not have many activities and the pools close at 8 pm in the middle of summer. The entertainment is mostly comprised of performance by their local singers. The excursions and not very well organzed, you have to sign up at the concierge, pay them right away, some with cash only, and you have to go to another location to meet your bus. they don't come to pick you up at the resort.

The biggest surprise at check out is the resort charge for electricity. I have never had this experience before. for 6 days stay, we were charged $40 euros. This was not mentioned at check-in but it is in their brochure that they hand out once your check in is completed. They explained that the owners of the resort decided this but did not explain why.

This resort is our 2nd home! Staff are so friendly and helpful and the resort grounds are beautiful. My husband and I find the accommodation excellent - everything that you would need to enjoy yourselves. We were invited to the weekly BBQ last week and had a lovely time - excellent food (lots of it), efficient and helpful staff, all this with entertainment included. You couldn't ask for more for an enjoyable night.

Room Tip: Rooms in the smaller blocks and nearer the beach are, I think, a little quieter.

recently stayed here. such an amazing resort. it has a private pool overlooking the beach and semi private beach 20 seconds away from the pool. the facilities are excellent & include things I wouldn't even considered would be here.

All staff are friendly and welcoming.... Antonio on reception was especially helpful with his attention to detail.

I would def recommend car hire to anyone on holiday here as taxis are very expensive €60 one way to airport.

great place to switch off and enjoy your holiday!
