“So OTT Victorian it begins to grow on you”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

OK so this is one for the ardent royalists or those in love with Victorian design. We are neither but have to admit there is a certain wow factor in the explosive combo of Albert's ghastly bad taste and all the royalist kitsch.

“Church of Queen Victoria & Prince Albert”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Fantastic church with exhibition of photo's of royal family, even has Queen Victoria's original chair in it. Mountbatten family plaques in church and grave in cemetery. So much history for a village church.

“Don't miss the tea room”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Cycling my way to Osborne House called into the Church tea room £2.30 for a cup of tea and a slice of home made cake. Unbelievable value and delicious too! Yet to visit the church but it looks fantastic set against the back drop of the river.

“Famous for Prince Albert having designed it”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

In this area, this is a most spectacular attraction. Prince Albert had a hand in designing this church, reflective of his German heritage. Victoria and Albert loved the Isle of Wight and it is a shame this is so far from the traveled path most visitors take. It is definitely worth your visit and there should be a nice couple of hours spent here. Classic.
