“A surprise find in Noosaville - great value”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

We stayed next door at the Ivory Palms Resort (separate review coming) so dropped in here the night of our arrival to save having to go too far.
We were very pleasantly surprised. As you would expect from a Bowls Club, it is not a cosy, atmospheric, intimate sort of place but the menu was quite extensive and the meals were great, but not fancy - perfect for a family meal. Even better, the prices were terrific - the 200g rump steak special every night (till current stocks get exhausted) with chips and salad bar was $10 as was the barramundi with chips and salad bar on Barramonday and the pork ribs (again with chips and salad bar) on steak and ribs night. Other dishes were very reasonably priced too. A good sized lamb shank with vegetables was just $16.50. A very tasty calamari entree was $6.50!
Wine was also good value - a respectable red and white were $5 each although there were cheaper options.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
We ended up going there on 3 nights, we were so happy with the food and value - and it was great not having to walk too far to go back to our villa.
Would have to be the best value in the area.
