Just got back from one week's holiday here and my first impression was how grand the hotel was. When it comes to the hotel itself, 5 star all the way, with impressive facilities to cater for all.
My constructive criticism would be the lack of service. Our group all commented on how under staffed the resort felt, which forced the waiters to multi-task and rush around too much, not very 5 star in service. This is definitely not a reflection on the staff themselves, more simply the numbers of them being too low for the demand.
The only other constructive criticism I would make, is the complicated structure of what's all inclusive. For example, the holiday company marketed the holiday as an all inclusive, it is however a full board plus. This can be misleading as ice cream for example is not included. Other irritations would be the included drinks were not available in the restaurants which is strange.
On balance a good break, but I think tweaking the above could massively improve the experience and fulfil the great potential of the hotel.More
