“Top Location, Fantastic Accomodation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2013

Stayed here for only 1 night but wished it had been longer. The Resort is at the end of the road through Diamond Beach adjacent to a Nature Reserve and on a long Beach. It was a well maintained Resort and all the accomodation was of a very high Standard. Our Bungalow had a large terrace with BBQ, large lounge/kitchen area and 2 ensuite bedrooms. Everything was extremely clean and well stocked, including washing machine & dryer. The pool area would have been a little small if the resort was full, but as we were out of the main season there were very few people around. Direct access to the beach from the pool area allows you to walk for many KM to enjoy the nature. We were so sorry to leave here as it really was that good.

Room Tip: We had a Bungalow but all the accomodation seemed good. The appartments were nearer to the pool but...

I am a local and have visited the 3 Nippers Restaurant several times over the past few years, each time not overly impressed but still willing to support local businesses. This time though I was totally unimpressed. While dinning in the 3 Nippers restaurant recently I had a main meal that was inedible. When I complained to the staff, I received a less than average response. I continued with a letter and phone call to management that was completely ignored. What more can you do....customer service was non existant in all respects. My advice to Australis...... look after your customers....they are the ones that give rise to your very existance.

We come every year for a family holiday, each year it appear the room getting more and more worn with nothing being updated or replaced, the furniture is getting tired and feels dirty. The pool is great especially for kids, however the beach in front is quiet dangerous. The restaurant on site is great. The customer service has also declined over time.

Stayed here during the big storm in February with a group of 10 families.
Stayed in E13, a spa villa, the villa was clean and although the furnishing are a bit tired, they do the job really well.
My only comment is it would be great to have an extra TV in the main bedroom.
There is a kids area which was used a fair bit during all the rain.
The pool is brilliant as it is a gradual incline so great for little ones.
The onsite spa is fab as well.

My only comment would be the staff, they should either employ more staff or at least try and improve the customer service.

Will be back for the right price.

I received this holiday as a gift and was staying 5 nights, only to leave early because room was disgusting. Rat poo under and around fridge, rats in roof, can't sleep too much noise from the rats, rat poo over BBQ, rooms filthy, couldn't see out of windows, fans and wardrobes thick inch dust, lollies and trash from previous stayers under couches, toilets didn't flush, too many issues to write all done.... Off to the pool and it's lovely except those nice lounges you can lay on are black with mould and torn...
Restaurant staff lovely but definitely over priced, the pizzas are great.....
Office manager was rude at first didn't like being told his resort not 4.5 stars and is filthy, but in the end did right thing refunded all of my money...... Would never return
Also it is near beach but cannot see it at all....
The photoshopping on this one is amazing, looks nothing like the real thing, so beware of this one!!!!
After reading the reviews on this site, all visitors are saying same thing and obviously they have not taken advice and it's a lot worse.

Just stayed here for 3 nights, had a great time, the kids enjoyed both the beach and pool, the beach is pretty much a surf beach (all 6 kms of it),but is also very quiet, the resort itself needs abit of a freshen up,furniture etc getting a little old, must take food with you as their is only one restaurant at the resort & the nearest restaurants are in forster or taree, both approx 30 min drive away.if you are looking for peace and quiet then this place is great.

Highly recommend this resort especially with children. Very quiet. Restaurant is amazing and such a great out look. Would go back.. It needs a little TLC but that wouldn't stop me from going back with my family and friends. . 10 minute dive to beautiful Foster. Great pool and day bed.
