Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Western menu with great choices - we were back twice in a 3-day trip. First time I ordered the Fisherman's Pie, which was good but needed a dash of salt. 2nd time I went for the grilled king prawns and man, this was lovely. So fresh, so succulent. And not badly priced at all! My partner had the aussie burger and I have to say that even though I'm not a big fan of burgers, I wouldn't mind this at all.

Loved the restaurant, very cosy, overlooking the beach if you come when there's still sunlight! You'll dine surrounded by trees, with the two lovely owners taking care of you.

Lovely little restaurant run by michele and lutz , its close to Sheraton Beach resort which has really horrible food , so we ended up eating every night at Mangoes . Great food at mangoes every night , great atmosphere , great people and thanks to michele who dropped us back to the hotel on the last night as it got a bit late for us to walk back .

We decided on this restaurant after reading reviews on Trip Adviser. We were not disappointed! The food was great and well cooked. The lamb shanks just melted in your mouth. Not a fancy place but service was great. We were made to feel like regulars. We woulfd have gone again the next night but it is closed on Mondays.

We had curries most nights during our stay in Langkawi and only went to Mangoes due to the reviews on Trip Advisor. It actually was rather good to have some home cooked food for a change. This is not a fancy restaurant but had a lovely ambience - its was packed the night we went! The host and hostess are real characters and made us feel extremely welcome and our children loved it and wanted to return another night. We will definitely go back if we return to Langkawi - hopefully leaving room the next time to try some of the puddings!
