Almost hidden from view- such a good thing! We visited for lunch on a weekday and the place was buzzing. Sit inside or out. Very rustic trendy feel to the place. I had meatballs in a rich tomato sauce - exquisite taste. Cakes were really nice quality too. Definitely recommended.

Lunch for 6 adults should be simple and enjoyable. The food was not bad, but not really good. It was the service that put us off. Taylors is a BYO place and we had brought a bottle with a cork. The waitress actions suggested that she shouldn't have to remove corks for patrons, but she did and brought it back. Oh could we have glasses to drink from. This was obviously not the thing that a waitress should be asked, but with a total lack of grace she got them. Still the wine was good (well I brought it) and the company great so that we enjoyed ourselves despite the so-so food.

This is a great rustic, artistic place to visit in the Swan Valley. Lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the rustic decor and there is also a gallery attached. The restaurant is family run and food is freshly made using home grown produce. There are daily specials on the blackboard. We went to brekki a few weeks ago ordered some delicious dishes, the Bircher Muesli, Fruit Toast and the Rye Stuff. The service was excellent as we were in a big party and were well looked after. Food is ordered at the counter and arrived very promptly. The lunch menu looks fantastic too so we will go back for lunch, also all the cakes etc. BYO so able to take your own wine, they have a small charge. We will certainly be going back there and recommending to friends.

Lunch on Saturday with friends. Reviews said it was usually busy, so I reserved a table. On arrival at 1115, yes it was busy-ish. Had a choice of tables inside but couldn't resist sitting outside. We sat in the 'grotto' beautifully shaded with grapevines. The whole place has a rustic, relaxed, country feel. The hospitality was outstanding and the food equally so. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our fresh, tasty meals. A good choice on menu and specials board and good value. BYO a bonus. $2.50 corkage. More guests kept arriving but it never felt crowded and there many staff to clear tables.
My only negative would be there is only one till to order food and then subsequently pay and the queue was in the way of the staff from the kitchen and some incoming guests. But, a small inconvenience. We will be back.

This is quirky cafe/art studio handily situated just off the main road. The dishes are freshly prepared and of good quality. The kitchen seems to specialise in vegetarian dishes and I would recommend trying one of these.
