“You get what you pay for”

I needed a cheap place to stay for a night before a meeting in Dural. Very convenient and with a great bistro next door. I slept well and had all I needed. For 75 bucks it was clean and comfortable. I could park very close to the room. There was a smell of mould but some fresh air eased that. The rooms could use some modernising though.

I have stayed at the Gateway many times over last two years. Recently I obtained a job in Sydney so I stayed at the Gateway for over a month to find housing. I was very impressed re the service, value for money, and care taken in servicing room and cleanliness for budget accommodation. Close to Hills area(10- 15 mins) and the cute town of Windsor with great Cafe's. I would highly recommend and where could you pay this price in Sydney area.

We stayed one night in the 2.5 star section. Rooms were spotless. Yes it is a little older but couldn't fault the service or what we got for our money. TV, kettle, toaster, mini fridge.
Would book again in a heart beat if passing through the area again.

The onsite pub does excellent food and the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Plenty of parking for those towing trailers or in trucks.

Stayed here for one night so we could visit all the neighbouring display villages. The room was on the highway but, as I always wear earplugs I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, the sheets clean and there were plenty of blankets. Although we woke up to find ice on the car outside, we slept warmly despite not having any electric blanket. The aircon worked well. The shower was hot and the bathroom clean. No shampoo/conditioner but soaps were provided. Lots of tea/coffee making things including biscuits (!). There was a jug and toaster. We brought our own breakfast things but didn't realise that a very reasonable $8 continental brekkie was available. Overall, great value for money at only $115 for a family of three.

We needed accommodation near Windsor & found this on the Gateway Vineyard website.
We spent 3 nights in one of the 3.5 star suites. It was clean, comfortable & spacious.

Billy's Bistro & the adjoining pub offer a good range of very affordable food & beverages.

The Pub is good, But, if you are not too keen on strippers accompanied by VERY loud rock music, stay away on a Friday evening & go to Billy's nice lounge area!

On the whole we were happy to have stayed & would gladly return.

Room Tip: Go for a 3.5 star suite, rather than the budget rooms.

We have stayed on two occasions this year. Excellent value for money. Large comfortable rooms. Handy restaurant onsite. Service always friendly and helpful. Basic facilities but met our needs. Some road noise but slept very well.

We were looking for a reasonable motel in the area and this motel (the deluxe section) met all our needs - comfortable bed, decent digital TV with Foxtel (altho a bit small), fridge, jug & toaster for breakfast, free parking and the room, bed & bathroom were spotlessly clean - all for $90! The only minor downside is the traffic noise but we could handle that. The on-site Billy's Bistro was fun - the meals were fresh, interesting and big (too much for us!) and the wine from the bar was well priced. Overall, excellent value and hard to fault.
