This is our third stay over some years and we thank you for your excellent service and accommodating littlies with high chair and portacot. Thanks for the fresh muffins every day and unobtrusive room service. Will be back again as situation is central - supermarket, coffee, takeaways within a pleasant stroll.

Unit was refurbished, but still had the new paint and carpet smell, its new, but yet, doesn't feel as clean or comfortable.
So if you are sensitive to smell then wait for a few more weeks before staying here.
The toilet seemed to not have been cleaned from the previous occupier, just a minor issue.
Since its next to the main road, it is quite noisy from the road at night.
Got bitten by some bugs there.
It is quite cheap to stay here though, so if you are on a budget, then this place might still be OK.
Also the baking from the host was very nice.

This place was in the process of being renovated so the reception had much to be desired. But then it's the room that really matters and this was spacious, clean, tidy and suited the 2 adults, 2 kids well. The young man who checked us in went above and beyond to help us get settled in and make us truly welcomed. He also provided great service during our stay leaping to clean out what few leaves were in the small pool as we wandered over for a paddle. Close to the shopping area and walking distance to some parks. Although next to the main road we didn't hear much traffic noise at all. Planning to rebook next time we pass through.

I would definitely stay here again. Frank the owner was very helpful and wanted to ensure that his visitors were satisfied. The free airport pickup and dropoff is a real plus. The location is great, very central situated between Nelson and the wine region or Motueka. The main street of Richmond is just minutes away on foot with plenty of places to eat.
The room was cosy and room rate was very competitive.

Room Tip: There are newer rooms which may be an option to stay in although I stayed in one of the older rooms.

We needed a bed for a couple of nights at relatively short notice and were on a budget. Louis and co came through brilliantly, 3rd party booking system messed up but Louis my man sorted it out seamlessly. Turned up after a 7 hr drive and was greeted with a big grin and 2 chocolate muffins! Next day there was towels & cake! Room was well equipped, excellent shower that soothed away the aches.
There was a swimming pool and BBQ if you wanted.Off street parking was a bit tight to negotiate, but certainly wouldn't stop me staying there again. Enjoyed our stay & would recommend to others.

This is an older dated motel, but we found it clean and the rooms good sized updated and with everything needed. The young man working on the evening of our arrival was helpful and friendly. It was near the holidays and he gave us a free bottle of bubbles which was very nice and unexpected.

Room Tip: Near to restaurants in Richmond.
