While not the greatest cave in the world this one is quite interesting and you don't have to battle the island's atrocious roads to get to it. It's within a 5 minute drive from the centre of Labuan Bajo, it's an easy walk but tall westerners will need to do quite a bit of crouching and maybe some crawling. Apparently around midday is the best time to see the 'mirror' effects of the sun's rays on the cave walls but it's interesting at any time of the day.
Our ranger/guide, Mr John, was informative and friendly as we found most of the people from the island.
Well worth a visit.

We took the train/s, however this was weeks ago and we have done so much since then. Just ask attendants, you may have to ask a few, not everyone speaks English.

This phenomenon is really worth seeing although don't go in if you suffer from Claustrophobia. There are some low floors to negotiate so have to be carful not to bash your head. The little bats are amazing.

This is probably the only (reachable) tourist attraction in Labuan Bajo itself. It was located 10-15 mins from the airport. In the entrance you have to ask for the guide. They were all very nice and gave you a complete history and explanation about the cave. We were very happy! He even helped us taking photos in most unique places. The cave itself was very interesting, it was not very big but it was unique. It took us around 1 hour to explore the cave. I think it would be very slippery if it was raining. Not recommended for children under 10 years old. If you happen to visit Labuan Bajo then this is nice to look at.

nice and colorful temple in the cave. When we went there, there was a ceremony and a lil bit crowded. but lucky us, saw a typical ceremony of Indian-Malaysian culture out of town. awesome.
there's a train station near to this place, so dont miss out when you visit Kuala Lumpur.
