We stayed here for 2 days on either side of a kayak/camping trip in Komodo National Park... we fell in love with the lodge. The rooms are simple, but clean and with A/C but the lodge itself as a gorgeous restaurant area and relaxing lounge area where we wiled away many hours reading, drinking coffee (lovely fresh cafetiere coffee) while watching the sun set over the distant islands... the gardens are great too and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We just found the ambience to be lovely and would happily stay there again.

We paid around $100 for a standard room which I thought was overpriced. On the plus side, the place is very relaxed and welcoming with bright and airy public areas and a beautiful garden. The rooms are nothing special however, nor is the pool, and I can only conculed that the Eco Loge name/brand allows them to get away with the inflated price tag. Careful with the beach, too, which though scenic, is tatty and not remotely inviting to swim in.

although there are signs of tiredness, the Eco lodge is a very peasant stay! .....i was there for two nights and found it to be clean, with comfortable beds, hotwater (it's always good!!) and smiling staff ... the service was a little slow but the staff were very pleasant and the surrounding condusive to to that pace of life ...the pool was sparkiling in a lovely garden and u could walk out to the beach (which was not where u would swim but walk along and watch the locals fishing etc!!)
it was a bit out of town so it was quiet but either a looong walk or the staff would organise a car.
considering all ...it was a happy experience.

La Buan Bajo is a gret place to start your trip in Flores and the best place to stay is Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds and spacious rooms, great food and beautiful surrounds. We stayed 3 nights to relax, soak up the atmosphere and see the sights. We had a boat trip out to Rincha Island and snorkelling and lunch at a pretty little island on the way back. There are so many islands and the water is so blue, it really is a peace of paradise.
We spent 10 day in Flores on a guided tour arranged by Eco Lodges Indonesia in Bali and would highly recommend them.

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable, good beds, hot water showers

We stayed here as part of a No Roads kayaking trip.
A peaceful and pleasant hotel with more than adequate facilities. Although it is a couple of km out of Labuan Bajo, it is a delightful walk into and out of town.
Staff are friendly and helpful and food is great.
