“Very comfortable cottage with added bonus of hot tub.”
Reviewed 3 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

The cottage was lovely with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. It was clean and comfortable and it was great to have an ensuite attached to each bedroom. The hot tub was most welcome to relax at the end of the day. The location of the cottage was very good for touring Dorset. The only slight difficulty we found was the slope from the parking area to the cottage. My husband has injury to his legs and our friend who accompanied us has breathing problems so they both found some difficulty with the slope. I had no problem with it.

“Hidden gem perfect for a getaway with the dog.”

We would highly recommend the Water Meadows Cottage for a base to explore Dorset. The cottage is spacious, comfortable beds (which is good for a bad back) and the hot tub was an added bonus even in Feb. The garden is a lovely place to relax and our Mini Schnauzer loved exploring the garden which was fully enclosed. The information given about walks in the area and where to eat was perfect for getting to know the area quickly. The local pub (Chalk & Cheese) was a hidden gem. The locals were welcoming and great for giving advice of where to visit and walk away from the usual tourist places. We loved our 3-night stay at the cottage and are now trying to decide when to visit again.

“Lovely cosy cottage to be in for Christmas”
Reviewed 25 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

We had a great Christmas stay in the cottage. It was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. Mark and Karen had made it very festive and the children loved the novelty of having a Christmas hot tub experience! Many thanks

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 24 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Lovely cottage. Warm and cosy. Lovely power shower and comfortable beds. Kitchen abit small but ok for a few days. Close to Dorchester and Weymouth. Had a nice meal in the local pub the Chalk and Cheese. Locals friendly and pub dog friendly as well. Nice touches with the dog treats and toys in the cottage we do appreciate that very much.

“Fantastic Cottage”
Reviewed 19 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

We stayed at the cottage with our 2 dogs, was in a great location with lots of local walk details in the cottage, beds and treats for our dogs and a lovely pub a 40 min walk away. The hot tub was brilliant and we went in every evening.
Fantastic cottage!

“We liked it so much we have booked to return!”
Reviewed 5 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Water Meadows Cottage had everything we needed for a peaceful New Year break. We enjoyed plenty of dog walks on local beaches and an afternoon in Bournemouth, before returning to the lovely warm cottage to relax in the hot tub. The owners were attentive, when we needed them to be, and at other times left us alone to enjoy our break, We would thoroughly recommend,

“Brilliant Cottage no complaints”

Stayed in water meadows cottage December 16th - 23rd 2017.
Cottage is set in a great village with great local pubs / shops and walks within a 5 minute walk.
When we arrived we were met by Karen who showed us around the extremely clean and well presented cottage and answered any questions we had.
The garden was great for the dogs and Karen and Mark also agreed to let our dogs out during the day while we went to longleat zoo.
The hot tub clean and heated up quickly so always warm when needed.
The cottage had a good size tv, comfy sofa and beds and was extremely quiet during the evenings.
Was a great week and would definitely visit again next year around Christmas time.
No complaints at all.
